The Saints are going to hammer us. Its looking like we may go 1-4 down this stretch. We will either beat the Skins or Eagles. Would like to beat both atleast go 2-3.................. Wow... how did things get so far....

hell even if we lose, I am sure I will be around for the next game and the one after figuring the Giants/Eagles will lose one of their remaining games and giving us a chance to get in.

I just figure there is no joy in being a fan who thinks the team will get killed. Even if I am wrong in my belief we can take out the Saints, who cares really.

Some peope want to piss and moan, that is their prerogative. I just don't know why they have to rain on other's.

Maybe a negative and positive fan zone should be created. No positivism in the negative zone and no negativity in the positive zone.

And three minutes after the final gun sounds, Slate will start a "We're Beating the Commanders" thread.

Can we sure but the probability of it is slim to none; this team does not know how to win a game like that; they do not know how to play desperate.

The Eagles 44-6 the giants 2nd game the Chargers the team never acted desperate they reflected good old Wade's half time statement we will be all right.

So sorry if I do not have faith from a tam that lacks the ability to play desperate.

If they do I will come in and eat 5 sides of crow with the biggest smile on my face !!! Crow taste good sometimes

I agree I think they are going to win, everything is setting itself up for the Cowboys to play a good game.

A. More than likely the last meaningful game of the year for the Cowboys so they will probably come out just as fired up as the opening series today.

B. The crowd is going to keep the energy going all game, so both teams will probably have their periods of anxiousness, big plays. Remember Louisiana is not too far from Texas so there will be some Cowboy fans in that crowd too.

C. Saints are a team almost begging for a loss so they can get the streak off of their back and get back to football.

D. For once the Cowboys are actually the team in position to make a regular season game "their" SB.

E. Running teams give New Orleans the most problems. The Cowboys seem to be at the least hitting a groove with Felix Jones. Barber still looks dinged up.

F. Cowboys Defense should be able to play with the Saints. It'll come down to if our offense will ever get over themselves. As with every game this year except for one... we will have our opportunity, but will we do something with it.

G. this board looks the excact same as the Commanders did before their game. Nobody was thinking they'd be in that one, and you see how that turned out.

Will we win, nothing is certain.. but there is always a chance.. if I was going to bet on an upset, i'd take this game. It's been a sitting duck game all season long, and it's finally here. Might as well hope for the improbable.

A. We have had meaningful games for the last 2 weeks, what makes you think this team will get up for this game?

B. There won't be that many Dallas fans there for that game. It's going to be Who Dat craziness in New Orleans. The Saints thrive off of that home field crowd.

C. Begging for a Loss? New Orleans averages 38 points at home. Dallas has only scored an average of 21 points a game in the last 3 games.

D. Once again, the last 2 games should have been Super Bowls for Dallas and they could not get up for the last 2 games. Plus you can bet that Sean Payton has had this game circled on his calendar since last year.

E. Dallas has not hit a running groove. Garrett is too afraid to run the ball, and the run game has been inconsistent week by week. Just like this team, you don't know what running game will show up.

F. Did you watch any of the game today? Our secondary was getting schooled by San Diego's wide receivers. With no D. Ware to create a pass rush, expect more of the same even worse against New Orleans.

G. We may be in the game, but looking at the body language of this team during the game this team has already quit. It may be close for a quarter or two becuase we are now in desperation mode, but in the end New Orleans will pull it out.

I would not bet on this game as an upset, unless I wanted to lose money ...

It's obviously unlikely, but I've got a hunch we beat the Saints, too. It's right in keeping with our '07 Giants scenario. The Saints are our Patriots, only we actually need to win the regular season game to help ourselves into the playoffs.

why does everyone think Payton wants to get us? Not like we mistreated him while he was here.

Just a matter of pride. I bet Sean thinks he would have made a great Cowboys head coach and I bet there is someone in Dallas who disagreed... whom he'd now like to show a few things.

It's actually one of the little tidbits that makes me think we have a chance. Maybe Sean will let pride cloud his judgment at some point in the game :)

Plus he already ran it up on us back in '06, complete with onside kick while way ahead.

I'd think he's moved way past any of that now. Right now he's thinking about staying undefeated and home field advantage, not revenge.

exactly he already got it out of his system if it was there, he isn't like Belichick who holds a grudge for centuries
