It's gonna be a tough game to win that's for sure

If this is the first time we shut down Moss, then we've got a good chance. I'm thinking high scoring here, with a breakout game from Price

We have to figure out a way to knock him on his rearend within the required 5 yds from the LOS.......If we can do that we could have chance. ;)

Keys to us winning. (IMO)

1. Julius has to run better than he has so far (needs to run for over 100yds)
2. We cannot give up more than 1 big play in the passing game
3. Bledsoe has to throw 3 TD's and throw 2 ints or less.
4. Need to pressure Collins to get him out of rythem early and often.

If all 4 of these things happen, I think we win.

is about the stupidest thing ever written, so the atrocious pass D of the Raiders is going to beat Bledsoe, because he's do? If the law of averages had any darn thing to do with football. The Browns would have won a superbowl. If you're looking for Bledsoe to faulter it isn't against a terrible team like Oakland. I really doubt Drew will throw 2 ints again. Apart from that decent analysis. Also Collins doesn't quite have that good a record more like 6-4 against us. And that counts us getting routed in 2000 by the NFC champ Giants.

Both defenses are going to get raped.
 
So the Raiders put 400+ total Offensive yards on us? So what? They will also have over 100+ yards in penalty yardage, and probably 2 or 3 dumb turnovers to us. What does this all mean you ask yourself? Another Tough Cowboy win on the road.

I wish there was a towel waiving emoticon, cause that's as close to a reason for us to win as any I've read.
 
Here's a game where a Great coach can win it for ya....and the way you do it...is classic Parcells....The year Vinny went down...he brought Ray Lucas in and won like 8 in a row including beating Dallas in Dallas....He did it by Ball possession....run run run....wind the clock down every down....play action play action...Field position.....that's how we have to pay this game....Feed Julius and A train and thompson 35+ carries and caqtch them w/ Play action over the middle...Our punting game must be superior...and I would bump them off the line and play zone...I would not man Moss....I'd double him w/ a Safety.....
Parcells HAS TO GAMEPLAN US TO A WIN....
 
Their on the schdule may as well go in there and play to win, Oakland has some of their own problems they are not 0-3 for no reason. They have plenty of weakness of their own not to mention constantly leading the NFL in flags. No doubt Moss will see double teams for most if not all day and Dallas has to contain him, chances are your not going to flat out stop him. As for winning I like our chances of winning, if we go out and play team football we give ourselfs a great chance aginst anyone out there
 
Sorry...I don't see us getting blown out. We win this game 4 out of 10 times on the road.

Keys:

Control the clock (Although I'd love to see us come out throwing right off the bat)
Spread the field (Julius runs better in a single backfield)
Because Oakland is not disiplined give Moss anything he wants underneath.....do not give up bombs. Make this team sustain 10-15 play drives.
Bledsoe has to limit INT's.

I said this in the "Baby Canada" thread....but I really think we are going to win this game. Weird???

The problem with trying to beat the Raiders with the run is the Raiders are actually pretty stout run stuffers up front. I agree that ball control and time of possession are important, but the Raiders' defensive weakness appears to be against the pass. Bledsoe might have a huge day with lots of yards after the catch by the receivers.

not weird at all, I respect Moss as far as his talent goes. I also know what has happened in the past when we have faced him, It does not change the fact that Oak has some big problems of their own and they have to figure a way to stop our offense as well.

I hope that's as bad as it gets...Bledsoe is getting the golden jock treatment after the win. Hey...I'm glad we won, trust me it would have been hard to walk out of Moster stadium after that one of we lost. I think there is still a LOT of room for improvement and hope he gets better and more comfy.

We are so used to below average QB's around here that Bledsoe is playing out of this world. He is playing good football, but he can still get better on his downfield reads. Once he does that the running ame will OPEN way up. JMHO...

People forget Roger Staubach came from behind many times. Why? because he and the team were not playing good which is why they were behind in the 1st place. Dallas made mistakes yesterday no question about it but they kept fighting and they made some big plays when they needed to be made both on offense and defense.

Most shoot-outs come with INT's. That's the trade off you make. Look at Dan Mario's career INT totals sometime. That's also the reason why defensive minded head coaches prefer ball control offense.
