I still don’t see how the eagles cut or trade Wentz though.

they are already like 70 mil over the cap
Next year and that’s without any type of dead money hit or bonus acceleration from Wentz.

I think it’s almost impossible for them to afford to get rid of Wentz, without decimating the rest of the team to make the cap room.

So the Cowboys burned 3 #1 picks in the offensive line....did that turn out to be a success?
Injuries derailed that plan. Once tyron started having back issues it was all downhill from there for him. And frederick was a top center in the league until his condition popped up out of nowhere.

They would all be in their prime still if not for the injuries. Where dallas screwed up was drafting zeke. If you have that much invested in the offensive line, you shouldn't draft a RB in the top four of the draft. With that line, you don't need a top end RB. In today's league, you can be just as successful with a couple backs who split time and are good at different things.

But in today's game, if you don't have an elite qb, the next best thing is an elite dline. We saw the niners nearly win the superbowl with an elite dline against mahomes. That's the same way the giants took down brady and the pats twice. If you can generate consistent pressure without blitzing, you have a chance against the elite qbs.

What about multiple formations?

Alex smith is a nice comeback story. But unless the skins can get a qb, they are going to waste this window they have with this dline. He never had the strongest arm, but he can no longer rely on his mobility, which was his greatest asset.

I don’t see how they can do it. With Wentz on a massive deal and after spending a #2 on Hurts.

honestly they need too much help elsewhere to spend the top pick on a QB. Unless they really think the one available is the next elite QB.
Hey they thought Wentz was the answer. I don't know what happened to him, but they need a QB.
