Whaddya set your thermostat to?

I live in Carrollton, Tejas and keep my thermostat at 75 in the summer.

My wife complains that it’s too hot, but I don’t think so.

Am I a monster, or nah?
72 in the living areas during the day and 68 in the bedrooms at night. I like it nice and cool!

Borderline unbearable, you’re a monster!

I’m in the metroplex myself, keep around 69 during the day and 67 when I sleep.

The 1st couple of years I was married, my wife and i argued about the temp in the house all the time. I wanted it at 68 or 69 because I liked it cooler. I also sleep better when the air has a chill. She wanted it at 72. So after a few battles, we compromised at 72. Yea, that is right, I gave her what she wanted. 30 years later there have been no other arguments about the temp in the house. I do sleep with a high powered fan right next to me in hte bed. That fan has to be there regardless if it is 80 degrees or 20 degrees.

My wife and I are reverse from most couples and I’m the one who gets cold easier

I do 75 during the day and 72 at night, but I think I’m going to drop it a bit now that we’ve bought a new AC earlier this year.

During summer 76 during the day 74 at night. We have ceiling fans everywhere. If it wasn't so humid we could probably be okay without A/C. In winter we only turn on the heater when there's a definite chill in the air. Some mornings it will be below 60. Turn on the heater for a few minutes and turn it off. Rarely do we leave it on all day.

For the most part, 72 during the day and open the windows at night since it still in the 50's most evenings..

In the winter, we set the heater at about 65

I turn it down to 69 just before sleeping. I find if I set it for 71 or higher for sleeping, I have some congestion or dry throat when I wake up.

For daytime, 77-79 usually. If I come back in from being outside, or from grocery shopping, I'll bump it down to 75 to cool off from that.

Got a new AC unit 2 years ago. Bills have been way down due the effcicency of the new unit. I lived with the inefficiency of the very old previous unit for too long. I don't know why I waited so long to bite the bullet and upgrade!! I went with the heat pump option. They even wired the new digital thermostat for power. I need no batteries for it, and I leave the display lighted 24/7.

We live in Richardson, TX. Same as triplets 77-79...and it stays very cool. I sleep with a small 15 inch fan on the floor 365 days per year...for the noise.

I fluctuate 67 to 73.. you are a monster. lol Setting it to 75 is fighting words in this house!

At home, Off.... as much as I can get away with it.

Motels/Hotels. I like to wake up under all my covers with snotcicles coming out of my nose.
