What a difference a HC makes, Chip Kelly

Bull. The Eagles were a 4-12 team last year and probably not even that good. This division sucks, to be sure, but Kelly won it in a one year turnaround, while others here are arguing for Garrett's fourth.

Yeah, sorry, Kelley's a very good coach. That Eagles, team had talent to start with, too. I'm just commenting on the play calling.

If we'd driven the ball on that final drive and he missed the postseason not taking a four point lead when he should have, nobody'd be praising his play calling tonight, that's for sure.

Yeah well that's not the point. The point is everyone else's "process" is much faster then Jason Garrett's.

IF my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle...

It's a fair point. We need to actually fix the pass defense that's gotten us beat.

He came in and took a team from last to first, changed their identity, play calling and the most important thing, their wins.
He also switched to a recently drafted QB.

I don't know your aunt well enough to comment on that, but the outcome of the game should not obscure a big coaching mistake like that, thats the point.

Someone that gets it, Chip Kelly was losing with Mike Vick as a starter.

Once Foles became the starter and understood how to read a defense he never looked back.

I think Kiffin coached his best two games of the season against the Eagles, hands down.

I hated that Garrett decided to put the fate of the team on the back of his backup QB. Even Kelley relied more on his run game late when Foles was clearly frustrated by what Kiffin was doing.

I think Kelley will eventually get figured out in this league, but I would take him in a heartbeat over what we have wearing the headset now.

I'm confused. You use Reid as an example in KC, but he was the same coach that led the Eagles to their last place finish a year ago. Was he a bad coach last year and a good coach this season?

Change of scenery seemed to help him, don't you agree, after all he did great things in Philly.

Reid has given up GM duties in KC which he had with the Eagles. His horrible drafts are what did him in in Philly, he is still one of the best game day coaches out there (although his time management skills rival Garrett's...)

It starts with better coaching, we should have won the game by 10-14 pts with the defense that showed up tonight. 1st and 10...shot gun formation... ladies and gentleman your Cardiac Cowboys!.....It gets old losing the same exact way. It doesn't matter who the QB is, Garrett put Orton in the same position he puts Romo in all the time. Make one big mistake and you lose. The real choker is Jason Garrett and his puppet is Bill Callahan.

OK they jumped a horrible DC and NYC team and a .500 team. He gets major props for that?

You forgot that the Washinton Commanders were 10-6, the point of the thread is he turned a team around in 1 season, unlike Garrett and he's had 3.5 years. He won the division, so yes, he gets major props for that.

Weren't people in here before the season started saying Kelly was overrated and that PHI's new O was a gimmick destined to fail?

He's a great offensive coach. I'm so impressed with him. I'm convinced he ran the ball so much tonight because he knew Foles was semi-choking. And he still won the game.

Don't forget, the front office gave him a very good offensive guy in pat shurmur to be his right hand man.

Shurmur had a great year with Bradford and now has helped along foles.

Amazing that chip Kelly gets an experienced coordinator but we got Garrett and wade Wilson.

Sorry but Philly is just not that good imo. They are beatable and it doesn't take the elite of the NFC.
