If we'd driven the ball on that final drive and he missed the postseason not taking a four point lead when he should have, nobody'd be praising his play calling tonight, that's for sure.

If....that word ALWAYS seems to crop up somehow with this team or their circumstances.

What exactly was so impressive about Kelly? The Eagles beat all of 2 teams with a winning record all year, and their offense was essentially contained by our historically awful defense.

I am hoping against hope that Chip Kelly will be wearing burnt orange and roaming the Longhorns sidelines next year.

They won the division after winning 4 games last year, I'd say that's impressive, at least it's much much much much much better than what Garrett has done for the Cowboys.

Kelly seems like a good coach, but that doesn't mean the Eagles don't suck. The just sucked less hard than all the other NFC EAst teams.

He's a great offensive coach. I'm so impressed with him. I'm convinced he ran the ball so much tonight because he knew Foles was semi-choking. And he still won the game.

Let's not forget that he has help. The help is Jason Garrett.
Chip Kelly did forget that he has McCoy with a brain fart in the third quarter. But then realize he had McCoy and Brown in the backfield in the fourth quarter.

He came in and took a team from last to first, changed their identity, play calling and the most important thing, their wins. Yet here we are with the same HC for 3.5 years, at 8-8 but look at the positives, we play hard, we have been one win away from winning the division 3 straight years, remember, we are rebuilding, give Garrett a couple of more years and we will get to the playoffs.
Chip Kelly took over a really talented team, just like Reid in KC or Pagano in Indy or Harbaugh in SF or Rivera in Carolina or McCoy in SD or Carroll in Seattle, you know what I mean? they were just lucky.
Nobody rebuilds a team like Garrett does, nobody. SMH.
Kelly was a drive away from staying at home. He inherited an All Pro RB and LT. Foles 2nd half season play was a bonus. Wait and judge him next year when people have better tape and he has a first place schedule.

Coaching. Chip Kelly took his offense and molded it to fit Nick Foles.

Dallas takes a scheme/system and forces the players to fit what it is...

That's it in a nutshell.

I agree. No way is Brandon Carr or Mo Claiborne that bad as the scheme makes them out to be. Carr looks like an All-Pro one week and trash the next.

Big deal. I remember seeing this thread about Tony Sparano and a host of other coaches. In order for Kelly to truly make a dent, an impression in this league is doing this year after year and winning in the playoffs. Winning a mediocre division is not impressive. Let's see where he and the Eagles are at in 3-4 years.

While I admire CK and what he accomplished. You have to put things in perspective. Two main points:
1- The defense ranked last in the league stopped his "magnificent" offense twice this year.
2- Remember in the last few weeks how many times the refs bailed his team and gave them the win on a silver plate. Even last night with the clock-gate. I am not a
conspiracy theorist or suggesting the league wanted eagles. But the way the clock switched from 40 to 25 is a little suspicious and I am surprised no one is
demanding an investigation.

NO and R Ryan will be looking very closely on what Dallas did twice to them and magnify it by 10 and pour it on them. And as one fellow fan mentioned few days ago..it's easy to storm the league with new stuff, the key is to repeat this the following years, and now that the league has full tapes on this I expect that team to struggle next season..

RGIII lead Commanders to the division title and look where he and his Commanders are now....

Spurrier stormed the league in his first year. This isn't college. Teams adapt. Heck, teams are already watching film on them.

Next year will be rough for Chippy. He'll be run out of town. Along with his boyfriend who he makes stay home in New Hampshire and not talk to anyone.

wow, the excuse train is riding along down the tracks...Kelly has done a good job with what he was given...other than Garrett, there isn't a HC that WOULDN'T use McCoy...I would think he would be less of a coach if he didn't use him....and, to recognize that Foles needed to start over vick is what got them to the division title....I hate that the Cowboys lost out again, but Kelly did a very good job of utilizing the resources at his disposal

...and, someone like him would NEVER do well in Dallas with the puppet master in charge

OK they jumped a horrible DC and NYC team and a .500 team. He gets major props for that?

All during the preseason this WHOLE board was talking about how the NFC east would be between us and the Giants and or just maybe the Skins. NOONE on here gave the Eagles a ghost of a chance.

Maybe you might want to reevaluate your above statement and give Kelly a bit more credit than you seem to be doing.

chip kelly did something in his first year that the idiot you are a fan boy of has not done in 3.5 years

if the division is so unimpressive why couldnt the savior get his team over the hump?

wake up and stop with the usual excuses
