1) I May Be Wrong but, I thought the stealers ran a 3-4 the way a lot of us Cowboys fans wanted ours run...?

I know, I know mop-head is injured, but I honestly think they still have better safties then we do.

But they gave away that game against the bungles. No pressure on Palmer on that last drive that I noticed(maybe I was too busy laughing). And gave up a TOUCHDOWN.

I thought Dick Lebaue(sp?) is suppose to be this defensive GENIUS...hmmm, what happened there?

2) The LIONS beat the Skins.....enough said

3) the 9ers/Vikes game was a good one.

4) did I mention how the pittsburgh D lost the game and that was without their offense giving the bungles multiple turnovers...or did they?

5) Brady had a crappy game even tho they won. He may turn it around, but it's good to see that he is human

Yeah it was a pretty good day

I watched most of the Skins\Lions game to start the day could not be more thrilled for the Lions and a chance to laugh at the Commanders.

2nd game bounced between the NO\Buf game. TO not a factor in the game and despite winning NO offense did not look that great. I expected to see an offensive shootout and ended up seeing a defensive battle for most of the game

Other game I got to see what the Pitt\Cin game. Be game for the Bengals and Benson showed up for a change

since 2005 they have 2 rings and had 1 of the greatest defenses in history last season.

Since Troy P went down opposing teams are not afraid of his replacement. He got lit up by CHI's rookie WR last weekend.

There's no doubt that Troy is THE KEY to that defense. Lebeau bases ALOT of his schemes around him, so PIT is hurting w/o him for sure. Bengals had 0 turnovers, Steelers 1.

Lions beating the Skins - a new low for the Deadskins...and then Haynesworth goes down with a knee injury...big surprise money well spent. (the guy is not a 3 down player and never has played a full season)

The running game helped out NE when Brady was off and his recievers were off too in the 1st half.

Vikes game was awesome!

Any time the Steelers lose it's a great day for me. Who they lost to and how they lost makes it that much better. It is unusual to see Lebeau go to a four man rush in that situation. He almost always brings the heat when he is protecting a lead.

Polamalu is definitely a huge cog in that defense. He is involved on practically every play and they are missing him.

Broncos put a whipping on the Raiders. Mile High will be fired up next week. I hope the Boys have a good bounce back tomorrow night.

I do not think the stealers had one of the greatest defenses in the history of the game last season. One of the greatest D's in history wouldnt have given up a 60+ yard TD in the Super Bowl.

A very good defense? Yes. One of the G.O.A.T. defenses...hell no.

And all week people have been saying how coaches do more with less talent on defense. If Lebeau really is the defensive GENIUS people give him credit for, wouldnt he have already figured out a way to keep his defense as "one of the greatest in history" even after mop-head went out?

Which is my point...THIS SEASON...not last season. That, and how people were burying our defense(for whatever reason they chose) while some were saying how they wish ours was run like pitssburgh's D.

Was it their coach's fault? The players fault? Just one bad series?....

the greatest defenses of all time IMO are Cowboys '72(Super Bowl VI), '85 Bears, and 2000 Ravens....but what do I know

We play Kansas City next (after tomorrow night), not Denver, right? Anyway, it was like a morgue at the Raiders stadium today. Half the fans left and the other half were shocked into silence. It's strange how they apparently expect their lousy team to do better.

That didn't help 'em today.
that's true. but the op was talking down their defense like it's bad like ours or something.

It's Denver next week, then KC after that.

not much since you don't think a 70s Stealer defense was one of the greatest.

As long as we don't turn the ball over we will be fine against the Broncos. Russell was terrible with his interceptions today. The Broncos run the ball well and have a solid defense but I think we can take them with little to no mistakes.

He/she is probably just tired of everyone acting like the big bad Steelers don't make mistakes too. Any team can have a bad day and any team can lose.

They were pretty much dominating until Roesthilberger(or however you spell it) threw an int.

Today was a great day of football! The Favre ending was awesome

I'd agree with you on that. I think we can take them if we play up to our capability. But if we start making mistakes then we'll have problems. Denver is playing with a lot of confidence now.
