How would our D do with DWare sitting out because of an injury? Same thing with PIT D they are missing THE guy who puts the fear in the QB. Instead they have a back-up that got burned by rookie WR Knox last weekend. I'm sure teams are targeting this guy and it seems to be working good enough for the W. Dick Lebeau's schemes are probably simplified because his best playmaker is not on the field so the whole D unit suffers.

One thing to consider is that Troy gets that D going with his plays...he fires up his teammates with his plays on the field to get them going.

i thought that guy was the defensive player of the year harrison? troy is a freaking safety. A SAFETY. not good enough for receiver, not good enough for corner.

I have been told around here injuries do not matter to the success of a team. When Dallas has had injuries no one including many fans here cut the Cowboys any slack at all.

Whatever. Pittsburgh lost and that makes me very happy. I'm just glad that that arrogant coach of theirs didn't get to chest bump everybody today. It also makes the Steelers-can-do-no-wrong crowd shut the hell up.

I'm sorry but injuries to KEY players affect a team, how well the team can overcome them separates the good ones from the average ones.

Things I enjoyed today:

  • Skins losing.
  • The TO press conference.
  • Favre magic at the end of the MINN/SF game.
  • Steelers losing to the Bungles. ( I had to text my friend, a Steelers fan, and make sure he was OK.
  • Phil Mickelson ending the season with a victory, I'm happy for him.
  • Rex Ryan sporting the "We are the Titans of NY" gear playing the Titans today.
  • The Seahawks jerseys making me laugh out loud.
I'm excited for tomorrow. Go Boys!

1) I May Be Wrong but, I thought the stealers ran a 3-4 the way a lot of us Cowboys fans wanted ours run...?

I know, I know mop-head is injured, but I honestly think they still have better safties then we do.

But they gave away that game against the bungles. No pressure on Palmer on that last drive that I noticed(maybe I was too busy laughing). And gave up a TOUCHDOWN.

I thought Dick Lebaue(sp?) is suppose to be this defensive GENIUS...hmmm, what happened there?

2) The LIONS beat the Skins.....enough said

3) the 9ers/Vikes game was a good one.

4) did I mention how the pittsburgh D lost the game and that was without their offense giving the bungles multiple turnovers...or did they?

5) Brady had a crappy game even tho they won. He may turn it around, but it's good to see that he is human

I wonder how the mediots will spin Big Ben throwing a pick-6 today. He is a god while Romo sucks.

Doesn't matter he has two rings and romo has 0. BB will never do anything wrong. Loss will be blamed on injuries and they will make SB when Troy P comes back according to BSPN.

I'm with you but last yr back-up QB was a concern but the staff was convinced BJ would be fine and the rest is history.

They will make the SB with half their D on IR and with Polamalu suiting up for the other team. They are the bestest ever.

He/she is probably just tired of everyone acting like the big bad Steelers don't make mistakes too. Any team can have a bad day and any team can lose.

What you just said! AND how their defensive GENIUS cant keep them GREAT even when one player is out of the line up.

I agree, the stealers AND their D are average...apparently

thats some funny stuff right there.

I didnt mean to ruffle up any feathers around here, and Im not trying to get people booty hurt.

my original intentions with this thread was just to talk about what I liked about todays football, since the Cowboys do not play till tomorrow.

It does amaze me how some Cowboys fans defend the stealers defense before they defend the one of their team, when they gave away the game in a worse fashion than Dallas did last Sunday night

not much since you don't think a 70s Stealer defense was one of the greatest.

the stealers have never had a defense that can hold a candle to the 3 I think are the greatest in history, IMHO

Great day of football... makes you wonder what the Boys could do if they had an organization focused on winning and not perception!
