the stealers have never had a defense that can hold a candle to the 3 I think are the greatest in history, IMHO

Hate to have to disagree. I can't recall exact year(s) but there have been some great Rams, Vikings and Colts defenses in the modern era. I'd put another Cowboy's defense in there as well.
