20 hours or 20 days, what really matters is how fast players go off the market. Plenty of very good players were swallowed up these first 20 hours, and the longer JJ waits to dive in the more we'll be looking at backups and not starters.

Gurode? He was benched at RG in 2004 and was Al Johnsons backup last year. 1 year deal sounds like not much interest out there. Of course he will compete for a job. Everyone does each season.

You may be right and word is that Fabini failed his physical with the Jets before cut and then possibly with us but that may be a rumor.

you know what sucks is the Commanders beat us twice last year once barely and once they walloped us with only one good reciever on their team.Now they have added Brandon Lloyd and are getting ready to ink Randel El to a deal.Parcells needs to **** or get off the pot and get us some players not some backup lineman.I know its early but BP is not impressing anyone right now or improving our team. Maybe he has something up his sleeve but some of his choices are questionable hopefully he knows what he is doing but I dont know.My confidence in him is a little shaky

Hope is 1 of the few Safeties left that would seem a fit. Have heard nothing on a safety visit or interest. But as many have stated - its only the first day.

We were not interested in Bently.

So name just one other FA we were interested in that is gone not including Longwell.

I got my hard hat on and I'm bitting my nails. Watching some must needed players get signed elsewhere while the Cowboys only signed a backup OL who hopefully can start.

Bottom line I think Jerry and Bill are playing there cards. Didn't like missing out on Longwell but there's others. Vinteri will cost way to much and Vanderjet might be the one if they can convince him to attened a couple AA meetings. Josh Brown maybe? Sure would like to get a Experienced FS, C. Even a WR, Loyd was a good snag by them D**Deadskins.

The next week or Two it is about money. Big names still on the table playing both sides for that all might C-note.
