From the offense, defense, special teams and coaching staff. Too many penalties that stalled drives or kept Buffalo drives going. Defense couldn’t stop the run and the offense sucked all around. Give credit to Buffalo. They probably played their best game of the year. We get every teams best.

BUT, the seasons not even close to being over. Quinn needs to figure out how to stop the run with what he’s got and MM needs to figure out how to beat that kind of defensive scheme because I’m sure they’ll see more of it.

So let the haters celebrate and do their gloating. They‘re quitters and/or bandwagon fans. I’m still a believer and looking forward to see how the team handles this set back.

:starspin:

They got thrown off right outta the gate. Happens to the best of them.

I’ve said it many times before many fans hope the Cowboys lose so they can pound their little chests and gloat.
There were a few folks who jumped the gun last week and got caught up with their Dak MVP, Super Bowl Baby! or Jerry Jones Master GM, etc threads. I was excited too last week, but like most fans, cautiously optimistic. So just as the Dak Haters need to hide their heads when he's balling, the opposite extreme probably has to take their lumps a little bit after a defeat like this.

My father told me a long time ago, sometimes there are times you need to just shut up. I don't think my man Rockport ever learned that.

This whole organization is so undiscipline with the ridiculous penalties and the heartless and gutless performances in their road loses. It just takes an opponent to smack them in the mouth a couple of times and the BOYS just nut up and quit! This appears to be a common occurrence for a team that was supposed to be a legit contender after last week's downing of the Eagles, but the BOYS were back to their old tricks and this team smells like a bunch of rotting fish that will be lucky to get past the first round of the playoffs even if they have a home game. This team reeks with the number of losers and quitters who are taking up spots on the 53 man roster.

He is running around with his hair on fire after that performance by Dak.
Bills didn’t give Dak a chance and the Cowboys shot themselves in the foot with the critical penalties. They were getting pressure with just a 4 man rush. Bills dominated the trenches. When you can do all that it doesn’t matter who the QB is. The game was over in the 2nd quarter. I know you‘re blinded by your hate but I recommend joining a football for dummies session for housewives. Maybe you’ll learn something.

No? I would agree if you had stopped after the 2nd paragraph, but you couldn't help yourself. You never can.
Some people can't tell the difference between constructive criticism and hate. And take everything personal. A lot to learn.

Nothing wrong with criticism, but when that’s all you do 24 x 7 then you’ve got issues. Call it what you want but they are bad people.

You are the fool. One mans pain is another mans pleasure. You deserve that more than the Cowboys did. You should take 5 stars advice above.

It’s nice to see he can provide some critical analysis. But there’s no need to call out fans . It doesn’t strengthen the argument.

Both extremes on this site ( homers and haters) are a problem. Most fans are more in the middle.

The Cowboys to some fans are like a problem child or loved one who will need to see much more evidence and or results before totally believing they have totally turned the corner. It been almost 3 decades. Hard to blame them.

Fans don’t have to believe to root them on . They can retain a glimmer of hope while remaining doubtful and critical .

And some fans should take the advice of coaches blocking out or ignoring the noise. This entire attack by both extremes is merely an attempt to discredit them personally cause their rebuttals to the argument are exhausted.
This take reminds me of another bothsidesism that’s false…

Homers are simply loyal fans that support their team and talk positively about the team because that’s the essence of fandom. Isn’t it?

Haters “support their team” by bringing down those that support the team “too much”? And, what, keep the players level headed by saying they mostly are not good?

Fandom is fundamentally about rooting for your team, no? Or are you saying when the internet came about a new equal form of fandom was born that revolves around building up your team with harsh “love” that’s more often than not critical and telling other fans they’re too supportive and positive?

Help me see the equivalence.

Haters and Homers are incorrect descriptions .

I’m a critical fan but I’d consider myself a Cowboys Homer . I call out the Cowboys issues constantly but I root them on . I haven’t missed a Cowboy game in 60 years. Not sure how anyone could be a bigger Diehard .

Both of these descriptions have become monikers for fans simply wanting to discredit fans personally because they don’t like the message. And out of frustration as the argument exhaust start calling out names and insults .

There are all types of fans . And I know many Cowboy fans here locally personally who are much more full glasses fans . They choose to be more positive and aren’t looking for critique . And that’s fine .

Haters can be anyone who chronically complains or calls out certain aspects or individuals with a negative outlook. Homers can be anyone who follows along with blinders on mostly with a positive outlook. Both are a lazy description in an attempt to dismiss or discredit their views.

Yes, fandom is about rooting for your team. I’ve always used attending a game as a good analogy. As we see so many different types of fans and how they conduct and express their fandom . Some cheer all the way and some hiss and moan even booing at times .

There is no one glove that fits all. Everyone is entitled to express themselves as they choose. In my 4 decades as a season ticket holder I had to have more Cowboy fans removed than opposing fans. Some fans just can’t handle the criticism.

We all know you can't help yourself, but people might respect you a little more if you could show a little restraint and leave out the the last part. It destroys the valid point you were trying to make.

The cowboys didn’t really show up but also the game broke terrible for them too.

Two drove extendinh penalties . A 14 point swing on a missed kick block. A missed fumble. And at 21-3 they kind of just wanted to go home which is understandable

It’s really time for fans to report these personal insults . That’s the only way it stops . This forum usually acts swift especially with chronic members . This is blatant . But it must come from those in which it’s directed .

I don't know how many years and times you have to be kicked in the head before you realize our GM hires yes men and not head coaches.?
We have as much talent as anyone in the league , minus maybe a position. Yet we fold time after time, year after year.
Why?
