And when I say “need,” I mean “turn him into a Championship caliber quarterback.”

He’s had prime Zeke. He’s had an impenetrable wall as an offensive line. He’s had Dez Bryant. He’s had Amari Cooper. This season, he had a pro bowl receiver and running back. He was sack all of twice through two playoff games behind his current line. What else could you possibly give him?

How about a real GM and a real coaching staff? Realistically, what does McCarthy do? Kellen Moore doesn't have the experience to go deep in the playoffs. Dan Quinn, he has experience and his defense SHOWED UP.

Other teams were getting better, stacking talent and hiring a coaching staff based off of their ability and not how much Jerry likes them. We've been singing this same story for 30 years now. It's the FO/GM who also happens to be the owner, and 30 years of failure hasn't sent the message that maybe he should relinquish control

He can still get a ring as a QB riding the bench for this or another team.

We are 7 years into the Dak era and have to contend with his huge contract and the downsides of restructuring every year with the rising prorated bonus.
Sure, his weapons this year could of been better, but his picks would of been picks no matter the WR.
No assortment of talent will make him not stare down routes/force ill throws/be off target.

They had Amari and still managed to put up only 17 points against SF at home. How much more help does a QB need...they've drafted at key positions with their 1st rounder and all have been hits and no busts:

2022 - OL
2021 - Pass Rush
2020 - WR
2019 - WR (Amari trade)

Just imagine if Dak played for a team that didn't draft well.

Needs a security blanket TE. Another bonafide stud receiver opposite Ceedee. A new RB because Zeke is washed and you gotta have multiple to be a winning football team.

A QB coach/offensive coordinator that can rebuild his confidence. He his play varies hot and cold wildly. You can't be a gunslinger and a game manager. I never know what level of play I'm getting out of Dak. Cooper Rush is liked because he is a known quantity. He's not the best in the league-far from it but you know you getting just enough to secure a win if you don't turn it over. With Dak I might get the high flying 30 ppg, the laser TDs, and all that good stuff. I also might get a deflating performance where it looks like an imposter took his jersey.

Dak has been provided everything a QB would need to be successful so the only thing Dak needs is a cushion to sit his arse on the bench next season.

Does anyone know if Dr. Frankenstein can transplant Joe Burrow’s brain and balls, Lamar Jackson’s legs, and Mahomes’ arm onto Dak?

People might think your suggestions are a lot....but this is what is needed. And if you don't get this....we will not take the next step. This is what Purdy has. Now you can say they can give Purday that because of what they are paying him...but we will be wasting everyone's time the next 2 years if they don't get him these pieces.

Listen, they could have had Dak for around 30M...but they (read Jerry) were not sure what they had, so they franchised him to take another look. That is not on Dak. That is on the front office. And trust me...people that know football knew what Dak was/wasn't...but the ultimate decision maker does not know what he's looking at when he's breaking down film. And I am positive that Dak being a mere 4th round pick led to Jerry doubting who Dak was and wasn't. Which led to putting the organization in a situation where they had to pay Dak 40m.

He's been handed one of the best OL in football, Cooper & lamb, prime zeke in 2016 & 2017, Pollard the last two years, better then average coaching for the most part

Granted defense failed him a couple times however he has failed just as miserably

I can see Prescott having success later in his career with another team that uses him correctly.

Jerry wants to win on his arm and it’s just not gonna work.

He’s not that guy.

We’re held hostage until that contract is out the door.

If he could play against a team with losing record and geriatric QB in each playoff game, we might have a chance.

It doesn’t matter. He won’t process the field quickly and consistently enough to get them the ball.
