Needs a security blanket TE. Another bonafide stud receiver opposite Ceedee. A new RB because Zeke is washed and you gotta have multiple to be a winning football team.

A QB coach/offensive coordinator that can rebuild his confidence. He his play varies hot and cold wildly. You can't be a gunslinger and a game manager. I never know what level of play I'm getting out of Dak. Cooper Rush is liked because he is a known quantity. He's not the best in the league-far from it but you know you getting just enough to secure a win if you don't turn it over. With Dak I might get the high flying 30 ppg, the laser TDs, and all that good stuff. I also might get a deflating performance where it looks like an imposter took his jersey.
Appreciate and agree with your opening sentence.

When I view our pass catchers, I’m not sure how the Cowboys averaged the number of points per game that they did! While folks criticize Kellen Moore, Dak, and rest of the offense, it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that they somehow were a top 5 scoring offense.

Most may not agree, but I think that says something for the coaching. Apparently, we win regular season games when matched-up against teams with somewhat similar talent levels but fall in the playoffs when the cream rises. This shouldn’t be surprising. We’re not there from an overall team skill level standpoint, and definitely not in terms of depth.

While Jerry & Stephen are sitting Indian style on the floor with their crayons and a 36” x 36” sheet of cold press matboard placing player names by their X’s and O’s, they fail to consider procuring players of substance by any means other than the draft. It would also take shock therapy to get Tweedledum and Tweedlesh*t to comprehend the advantages to having athletic game changers playing TE. Gee, what are the names of the TE’s left in the playoff – Goedert, Kelce, Kittle, & Hurst. We need one like this in Dallas.

I’d also dip a toe in the receiver waters. Again, one only needs to look at the receiver depth of the remaining playoff teams. The only team we sniff is the 49er’s, and with Aiyuk really coming on this year they are certainly more formidable than the Cowboys. CeeDee needs a legit running mate on the other side instead of trying to assemble a serviceable collective to help the cause.

I’m sure my dreams of grabbing real difference makers will be replaced by Jerry’s hopes of finding an aging diamond in the rough behind the bargain bin at five Below.

The reality is, buckle-up and get ready for another offseason of draft talk and speculation of who the next 30+ year-old player with no tread left is coming to Big D.
