What Additional Weapons Does Dak Need?

"DURRRRR WHAT DO 'MOST' MEAN?"

He had 1 elite playmaker in the 2nd half. Brock Purdy had 3.

Dak played like garbage, but he also didn't have great weapons to work with. Both things can be true.

This times a million.

Dak didn’t play well, but he also had no help outside of Lamb.

And when I say “need,” I mean “turn him into a Championship caliber quarterback.”

He’s had prime Zeke. He’s had an impenetrable wall as an offensive line. He’s had Dez Bryant. He’s had Amari Cooper. This season, he had a pro bowl receiver and running back. He was sack all of twice through two playoff games behind his current line. What else could you possibly give him?

Most is not half and the Dallas defense shut down SF's weapons....but even Parsons said after the game that the 2 Dallas turnovers cost the team the game....aka Dak cost Dallas the game.
Funny how you're quick to blame a loss 100% on the QB, but when the team wins you bend over backwards to praise everyone BUT the QB.

How did Dak play last week against the Bucs? I must've missed your QB analysis after that game.

Um, Pollard left in the 1st half, so he literally did miss "most" of the game. Did you graduate 3rd grade?

This FO, HC, OC and QB need to stop trying to turn Dak into a passing QB and this team into a mainly passing game team who always abandons the run at any sign of trouble.

You have a good running game. You have Dak run more. You have Dak pass less than half the plays.

You do not let the OC and Dak get pass happy all the time and you win games like this

If you can keep Dan Quinn. Keep this defense or improve on it. Get a good run game to compliment Pollard and just have the QB be a game manager aka bus driver and you can win games like this one.

At the very least if you keep the defense good and you can have a good run game you can draft a QB and let them play early without overwhelming them. You build for the now and the future.

I seem to remember him throwing a terrible pass to Gallup and another to CeeDee that should have been a TD. On the one pass where he threw into tight coverage, I think it was TY that was running free toward the endzone.

The other players can't help if he doesn't give them an honest chance to make a play.

So, if he’d had, say, Amari Cooper, he would’ve won?

Having Lamb and Cooper would’ve been a game changer this season.

I like our chances against a great defense like SF much, much more. It’s not just the passing game, it makes the defense give a little more cushion which helps the run game as well.

$40M QB shouldn't need "Weapons". The QB should be the weapon.
right but the top 5 $$$ qbs making the most money didn't make the playoffs because they didnt have enough,

Fill in the blanks LOL get passed it the OL blew it , the elite guys most are out of the playoffs now,

once again our OL got man handled and that why we lost IMO., sure Dak INTs didn't help but qbs all of them tend to try and make plays when they feel that all there is on offense is try and make plays that might not be there..not letting dak completely off the hook but our offense against the rams 18, 21 9ers, and now this 9ers game our OL did NOT show up with a run game.. each loss ,no run game and very little time to throw.. its pretty obvious thats the bigger issue.

need more physical LG and either Steele back or new RT.. Tyron and Peters are older and cannot be counted on but more for depth swing guys next season.

Just imagine Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb on the same team. Then imagine if they’d played the Niners at home rather than on the road.

Definite W.

It’d make it a whole lot tougher on opposing defenses for sure.

Right now the game plan against us is super easy for playoff caliber teams. Stack the box, roll coverage to Lamb and make someone else beat you.

Has to change.

How about REAL competition? There is no one to push him to be better. If you can provide competition to other positions, why not the qb. It's the culture.

Possibly so. Last year we got beat up from the opening bell. This year, the defense looked much better, so if we were able to get a few more catches, that could have been a W.
