What Amari Cooper has meant to Dak and this team

It’s yet to be seen if this defense can elevate itself. Sunday night was a better indication. But I’d agree when we have all of our talent on offense it appears to be Top 5.

It will be interesting to see how it fares against the more serious contenders coming up. We were hoping to see against Saints and Packers but we didn’t have everyone healthy.

I mean sure I think most of believe Dak has been better with Cooper than without but how many NFL analysts even think Cooper is a top tier receiver? What does that say about the level of talent Dak has had that someone not even regarded around the league as a top 15 receiver can have such a profound affect on his play?

Let’s look at the evidence....

After Sunday night’s game against Filly, the Cowboys have now played 16 regular season games with Amari Cooper. When the trade was made last mid-season, this team was 3-4 and even lost their first game with him. But after what is the equivalent of a full regular season (16 games), all you have to do is look at what Dak has accomplished in those 16 games with Coop.

THE 16 GAMES AFTER THE COOPER TRADE
Record: 11-5
Dak’s Numbers: 26 TDs-10 INTs, 4,591 yards. I remember Dak being criticized on these boards because “he doesn’t have the stats.” Now he does. And more importantly, this team is 11-5 since Coop arrived.

I was dead wrong about the Cooper trade. I said last October that it was a mistake that would haunt us. Sometimes it’s really good to be wrong.

Now if we can just find a better HC....LOL!

I'd like to have a QB that doesnt need a pro bowl entourage just have a smidget of success.
 
we need are real coach who can utilize this talent to the best of their ability ,

make the potential a reality .
 
I hated the trade at first because of what we gave up to get him and I hadn’t really followed Amari much up to that point

I had no idea how elite of a route runner this guy is... worth every penny.
