What are the coaches doing with OL?

Ok McClay. If you say so.
I can watch two minutes of film on a guy and know more about his natural abilities than the coaches who've watched a hundred hours.

Body build and bone structure repeat themselves. So I can also tell you that Badiasz will always be average and that Steele will tucker out the second half of the season. So I don't know football.....I know people.

Then why aren’t you a scout or a coach if you’re such a football savant?

I have no idea who’s better but I do know that whomever is will be starting day 1. These coach’s jobs depend on putting the best players out there.

Oh and Steele was much better the 2nd half of the season last year.

Daryl Williams & JC Tretter are still out there in free agents land.

They should be brought in for a physical and workout if we're serious about this year.

Above rant aside, the OL is going to hold this team back again. We should have never let go of Collins & we should have upgraded Center and our swing tackle. There we FAs available to shore this thing up.

You are going to see Steele whiffing a lot. Dude cannot handle any speed.

i dunno if the Cowboys had some concerns about Collins' hip and long term affects of it ...dunno if there were some inside concerns about his " availability " which contributed to the rumored
questions of his work ethic and conditioning, .as well as character questions, ala. the substance suspension and bribery issues,..

How much was in Lael's control ..how much is or was Not in his control ?

- When it comes down to Steele - how much will he be able to handle himself vs the better edge rushers, in a 2 minute warning, on a come back bid to win the game, with no chip or double help ?
Because we are gonna ask him do on a frequent basis when we face the more competitive teams who happen to have those kind of special edge rushers.

This is Steele's trial year, ..contract year. He puts up an stellar impressive season, and we'll re-sign him long term.
If he puts up a subpar season in his first full time starting year, ..and then we'll be heading into the NFL draft looking to upgrade immediately at starting RT,

That's the thing, though. We're hinging the season on a hope that a guy in one of the most critical positions might be able to take the next step. Same with Biadasz & LG. I'd be good at LG if we had the other pieces secure, but right not only LT & RT are solid and we saw what happened last year when we couldn't run the ball or protect Dak.

I would give Eric Fisher a call to see if he has anything left.

Stop with Collin’s already , what was his contribution in the last 2 years , almost zero. He was unmotivated, physically unfit and out of it, some players waste their potential after getting paid, he is one.

I agree on your statement about center and swing tackle.

Ok, whether or not you think Collins was worth keeping (I do), Steele is not the answer. The position needed attention.

Why are they not starting the rookie smith at left guard? Why are they wasting important reps and even messing with his confidence. Get your best 5 set and stop playing around. Where is the head coach. Is he ********? Where is the the aggression and nastiness with the ol???

OL IS SOFT. NO BALLS. let lb steam role zeke in no tackle practice. Denver guy dancing and prancing after ran Zeke over and y’all do nothing!!!! Pathetic. Embarrassing

Also sign 1-2 decent /best ol available and cut crap players you drafted ie Ball - just CAUSE YOU DRAFT SOMEONE DOESNT MEAN THEY ARE GOOD AND SHOULD BE KEPT!!!!!

They don't want to tip their hat lol, he will be prepared week one in closed practices to the media

I'm not hitting the panic button just yet. But there is just to many inconsistency with this oline. There should be no reason why this is still uncertain right now. And judging from all the reports, they aren't performing up to par.

Philbin really needs to go. Been saying this all along. Don't know why he is still around.

They also should have signed a swing tackle. We have the money and this is all on Stephen Jones.

Philbin is there because he’s big buddies with big Mike.

If he was not buddy buddy with MM then philibin would not be the coach hear. He uses zone blocking instead of power blocking. We had JG some years back hire his buddy from the bengals and let our good O-Line coach go to the bengals. He made it for a half a year and had to bring up Colombo to take over. We went back to being good again. This guy now is having our O-Line go backwards. Penalties and getting pushed back because they are weak.

I'd replace him with one of jerry's grandkids or one of his illegitimate kids. :)

If Tyler Smith isn’t starting on opening day then he must not be very good. If our top pick can’t start somewhere on this OL from day one he was a mistake.
