  1. We need to clean the house at the RB position. I'd love to keep Pollard but if that takes the franchise tag, with the doubt around his injury, IMO the money is better spent elsewhere. I'd look to the draft, maybe even draft two
  2. With Brown and TY Hilton out of contract and Gallup coming off a bad season (we have to ride that contract out), we need to address the WR position with more than one option. I'm not against bringing Ty Hilton back and I wonder if Miami might entertain a trade for Cedric Wilson.
  3. We need to replace Hankins and ideally, that's with a better 1T, I'd want to fill that role in FA and I wouldn't mind also bringing back Hankins in a rotation option filling Watkins' role (Odigi, Golston, and Gallimore as 3T's)
  4. We need a No.2 CB with Brown out of contract, I'm actually quite bullish about nickel/slot options with Lewis, Bland, and Mukuamu but I still feel we need that no.2 outside corner. If other options (Wilson/Joseph) can be more than ST players, we can just let Diggs walk once his contract expires.
  5. We need to clarify what we want to do on the O-line.
    • That could be Steele and Tyron at OT with Tyler Smith at OG and draft a good backup covering Tyler if/when injury strikes and he needs to move back to LT
    • We could go with Steele / Tyler at OT and draft a good replacement for McGovern using Tyron as swing tackle
    • We could cut Tyron and allow Tyler to become a full-time OT chancing it with Woletzko as swing tackle, we'd then need to draft a starting OG
  6. We need to find a replacement for Bar/LVE at LB. With his injury history, I'm not in favor of giving LVE a long-term contract but I'm not ready to run with Clark/Cox either.
  7. I wouldn't mind adding to the TE room with Shultz out of contract. I'd pencil Ferguson/Hendershot in as TE 1 and TE 2 but I'd like competition
  8. We need a new kicker
I wouldn't mind an off-season, something like the following:

Cuts: Zeke
Sign:
  • DT: Payne & Hankins
  • WR: Ty Hilton
  • Kicker: Matt Gay
  • LB: LVE on a 1-year deal or someone like Alex Singleton
Trade: Cedric Wilsons

Draft
  • 1st: CB
  • 2nd. RB
  • 3rd: OG
  • 4th: TE
  • 4th (compo): RB
  • 5th: QB
  • 6th (Compo): LB
  • 6th (Compo): LB
  • 7th: WR

They had a good season. They could have won the 49er game too. 13 wins and 6 of those were against playoff teams. It does mean something. They were good and exciting to watch. The true loser is you, if you don't enjoy it.
You are what’s wrong with our fan base.

If you truly felt this way and your world was all sunshine and roses you wouldn't bother trying to convince people on the internet that they are losers.

a new OC would be nice
CB to match with diggs on the other side
DT - There is surprisingly a good amount available in FA
WR - We need someone who can thrive in the slot, so Dak has another reliable option underneath. Gallup should play much better next year, another season removed from injury. We still got Tolbert who could make strides on the offseason going into second year. Then a vet a cheap 1yr vet contract (TY?).
LB - Need better run support, especially on that weakside.
RB - Pollard back on a prove it contract. Otherwise I am against any big signings at this position. Should be able to get some young viable backs through FA.
OT
OG

I like filling the bigger holes through FA and drafting BPA in the draft.

There is a lot they can do to improve in all aspects. Will they?
