They had a good season. They could have won the 49er game too. 13 wins and 6 of those were against playoff teams. It does mean something. They were good and exciting to watch. The true loser is you, if you don't enjoy it.

This was their year, and they let the Eagles steal it from them.
This franchise has been a waste of talent since 1996.

We won the first road playoff game in 30 years.
We lost the second road playoff game on a short week with a kicker we didn’t trust until late, a QB who played poorly, and only one playmaker on offense in the second half, plus some freaky plays by SFs playmakers.

SF is considered the top team, despite the #2 slot. Everyone here who said for weeks we would be destroyed by SF or Philly now acts like we should have won the game and are losers.

I wasn't comparing this team to the rest of the league. I was comparing them, and last year's team, to other years the Cowboys had 12 or more wins. The only team I'd say is similar to his 12 win team, were the 1983 Cowboys. I think that was the only 12 win team I can remember that didn't at least get to the championship game until 2007. And this Cowboys team was not better than the 2007 or 2014 Cowboys teams.
