What are the odds the Cowboys actually pick at #4?

Given Jerry's desire to appear clever, I'd say less than 50%. Do you think they'll stay put?

If Bosa or Goff is there? 100%

Unless...JJ signs/trades for one of his pet cat qbs (rg3 or manziel ), before the draft, then I could see him pass on both or trade out with thought that he is good at the qb position.
As stated, no one ever knows what JJ is thinking.

I don't think it really matters..

there are just so many positions we need to improve..

choices are a good thing.

What I don"t want is another project like a DeMarcus Lawrence or Gregory or Claiborne.

He needs to start from Day One and needs to be effective right off the bat.

I don't want somebody who takes half the season before he starts.

Other than that..whatever.

Of course, everything is dependent on what happens in free agency - who Dallas signs, re-signs, and lets go.

My first choice at #4 would be Jalen Ramsey, S/CB, FSU.
However, I would not count out a trade down to around the 9th pick and grab Deforest Buckner, DE, Oreg; Mackenzie Alexander, CB, Clem; or A'Shawn Robinson, DT, Ala.

If the Cowboys can grab an extra pick or two, then why not?

I would love to see Jalen Ramsey in a Cowboy uniform though.

If Dallas didn't have Romo, 100% they would pick. But seeing as they don't need a starting QB or have a clear number one position of need it's more likely they trade down. Personally I'm all for accruing picks if they aren't drafting a player that will be a walk in starter.

theres also the possibility he could fall in love with Lynch or Goff, and decide he aint bein talked out of it this time...meaning he moves UP so Cleveland cant take the one he wants.......probably not, but its Jerry so who knows........

We stay at 4. More likely to trade the 2nd rounder at the beginning of Day 2.

I fully expect both to be gone, in which case I would rather trade back and accumulate another pick or two.

I don't know, I kind of think Bosa will be there. Tennessee needs to go OT to protect Mariotta.

The chargers need a safety replace Weddle and they could also use an OT on their poor Oline.

Goff goes to Cleveland to replace Johnny. And Bosa is right there. This is our Hardy replacement.

BUT... I think between now and the combine and Pro Days, there will be other candidates that skyrocket up the board, and we will trade back a bit to get more picks. And either Bosa or a trade back for more picks is perfectly ok w me. I'm pumped for this draft.

the REAL question is what will Spaulding "pick" on day 1?????

ok, so being serious, if Goff is there, they stay and pick him...other than that, I hope they just take BPA and don't reach for a position...the pick has to be a homerun...but, if someone comes-a-calling with a great deal, then you make the change

ex: perhaps Kelly is already chirping to his GM that he needs to move up...they give up their first and next year's first to move up....you HAVE to take a trade offer like that seriously...SF will suck this year, so their #1 next year is going to be high....heck, I wouldn't mind the trade back in round 1 with them if they give us their 2nd rounder this year and next...

Depends on how many of these Jerry drinks on draft day!
