Leary is not going to be re-signed he is going to get a contract just below the upper echelon guards. Think of him as the equivalent to the 90's Kevin Gogan. I think that bridge has been dynamited, not to mention Martin is due up for an extension. Mo will want upper tier CB based on his play before injury though that price may cone down because he almost makes Lee look durable, Church is a maybe IMO if we can get someone with a higher ceiling without a much higher price tag I say do it. Buh-Bye Twill, and Crawford just signed an extension 2 years ago.

Don't be so sure. That knee will prevent him from going after the Steve Hutchinson type of deal. He could be had for a reasonable deal, though still expensive.

He's better than Collins at guard, and Collins could swing out to replace Free at right tackle.

I wouldn't take a chance on the best part of this team. Sign him.

His knee is not the ticking time bomb some make it out to be. The degenerative part of his knee condition is likely only going to trigger with an injury.

A team like Jacksonville or someone like that who is way under the cap will make him rich.

Dallas just needs to keep drafting these guys. They are what make our team go.

There is nothing that says Collins can play OT in the NFL many scouts even said he is better swinging inside than being an OT. While he is a better athlete than doug free he is not as technique sound as Free and may not be as fast footed as free

If you sign Leary, you can spend all your early picks on defense.

OK. Then sign Leary and trade Collins for a high pick. Leary is far superior to Collins.

I re-watched the Skins and Bears game. Overall I would give Collins the nod at run blocking and Leary the nod at pass protection. Collins is a bit of a frustrating player to watch because he'll look like a future HoF'er for 3 plays and then inexplicably whiff an easy block. Leary is more consistent. Also, Collins' first few games was when EE wasn't exactly EE. When he started to figure out the zone running scheme against the Bears, he had a huge day.

I really wouldn't mind Collins getting a try at RT either, but I can see why the coaching staff likes him over Leary.

That's apex for Leary is pretty damn good. Ceiling is potential but doesn't meant it'll get fulfilled. Just an argument. I am torn here about signing Leary.
Yeah Leary was PS his rookie year starter his 2nd and was above avg for UDFA in that year. Collins was in his 2nd year this year, starter caliber with some ups and downs he is not that far behind Leary.

That was Leary his 2nd year. Look all pro then go on roller skates on a play.

So IF Dak is the starter next year what do we do with Romo's contract?

Players like Mo and TWill won't break the bank and if we don't resign them, their replacements need drafted. Therefore I sign players like that in a heartbeat so we can spend valuable draft picks filling holes.

McClain, Leary and Twill will bring in nice comp picks. I can't see them letting Mo walk after finally being rewarded for their patience.

Tough to say on any of them.

Bad teams love to overpay free agents from good teams.

Could definitely see some desperate teams overpaying for T-Will, Mo, possibly Leary depending on how teams view his knee.
