What I'd like to see:

1. A better effort from the OL 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team.

2. A score by the first string offense.

3. Bledsoe NEVER patting the ball.

4. Ferguson and Spears in the rotation up front.

5. Ware and Burnett showing more than in game one.

6. Less soft zone coverage and a few blitzes and stunts.

7. Kick coverage that doesn't miss the first two tackles on every return.

8. Something at the other safety spot from someone beside Beriault.

9. Barber and A-Train looking like they won't just roll over for the charging Thompson.

10. Thompson doing something in the return game with no missed blitz pick ups or fumbles.

11. Henson and Romo showing game one was not a fluke, and a vet does not need to be brought in...unless it's to replace Peppermint Patty.:D

12. Cundiff making all his kicks.

13. No drive killing or drive saving penalties.

14. A couple of sacks and turnovers.

15. Something from all the bubble players to make Parcells earn those big bucks cutting the roster down.

16. Actually see Cowboys o-linemen hit the opponent when pulling on sweeps.
17. A whole lot less drama on this board.

Improvement from all three units and most importantly no major injuries to any of the potential starters.

Everything you said except for Spears in the rotation. Way too early for him to be back at full speed.

Add in Davis making an INT.
Sprinkle some JJ moments from the last Sea. monday night game.
A dash of Keyshawn over the middle.
2 oz of Fergy plugin up the middle.
Top it off with Ware and Burnett meeting at he QB.

Then we will have peace on this board for at least one week.

I've been hoping to see that for 8 years now to no avail. Don't hold your breath.

1. Improvement on the OL in the passing and running game.

2. Drew Bledsoe getting rid of the ball on time (not holding my breath on that one).

3. Improvement from Henson and Romo.

4. Consistent pressure on the QB from our starting Defense.

5. Keith Davis to show he can make plays on the ball.

6. To see Crowder more plays on special teams.

7. More improvement from Patrick Crayton.

8. Less penalties. Like 7 less penalties. Or at least 5 less penalties.

9. Henson with the second team offense.

10. More time for all three QBs to throw the football.

I get to see the game, that is pretty nice all by itself.

Other than that, I want to see the offense move the ball consistently and score TDs early. I want to see the defense put pressure on the QB and get a few sacks.

1. Some long, deep completions to TurtleBoy.

2. A beautifully lofted Henson TD as described in the Vela camp report, and the smile on Tuna's face it reportedly earned. In fact, a relatively satisfied Bill on the sidelines tops my list.

3. Those linebacker reading drop back situations fast, and getting into coverage in time to make plays.

4. Thompson carry inside effectively a time or two.

5. Henry smother his man and Tnew pick one off.

6. FERGY doing his thing.

7. Pettiti take his next big baby step with technique and stamina.

8. Tony continue to demonstrate the importance of graceful footwork.

9. CANTY...in any configuration shadowing his future presence.

10. Run stoppage continue.

pretty simple list for me:

1) no injuries...I dont care if we lose 68-0, no more injuries to players we are counting on

2) the OL to resemble something at least average

3) more pressure on opposing QB

1. O-Line improvement especially at RT...going to cut the young rookie some slack and look for improvment and not expect perfection at this time.
Also there are times when there will be penalties, I just want to see the o-line penalties cut down a great deal.

2. A deep pass or two would be nice.

3. A nice breaking run by someone other then T.Thompson against guys that will get cut before the season.

4. A sack or two would be nice.

5. Want to see if McBriar continues with how he did vs zona.

On a side note...I have a question.

What is the morbid hatred fascination with those and Drew Patting the ball.
Like if he does it, it will make someone puke....seriously why is it so bad to some of you guys. I am sure many QBs do it and even those that don't probably have their own little quirks.

It is one thing to bash a guy for being a statue, missing plays, fumbling or so on...but patting the ball???

It is a behavior that leads to poor play.

I have even seen him fumble in "mid-pat". Literally drop the ball. It is unnecessary and dangerous. It is not some harmless mechanical twitch. It adds motion to his delivery.

Take a look around. It is not common at all. Most may move their arms around, but patting the ball with both hands is rare. Hence the nausea.

Get out of the game without injuries.
Better performance from 1st unit offensive line
