I can't seem to get "Blackened" by Metallica out of my head. Which is a good thing because it's an incredible song.

hi, I've been listening to Wilson Pickett's Land of 1000 Dances a lot recently. I think it's that deep 'huh' he does with the drums at about 40 seconds in that really gets me. Then the massive scream at the end, that's pretty good too. And not forgetting that he manages to make 'naa naa naa' sound like some of the best lyrics ever written. Oh bugger it, the whole song's amazing. Anyone hearing this should get their dancing shoes on and start moving.

Relatively obscure 90s "hit". Good stuff.

This last week I have transitioned into Christmas Music. I love this time of year and love Christmas music. I'll still rock the house from time to time. But we are into the six week window of opportunity to listen to some of the greatest music ever recorded.

My GF throws on the Christmas music whenever we go out. Lite 98 in the vehicle this time of year.
