IMo,.. before we talk of Dak in 2025,.. we'll have to first see what becomes of front office management and coaching staff.

- The Jones refused to put a stud RB Derrick Henry for Dak ...and the best they can do is trade for a JAG WR per 4th rd,
- I still dunno what the hell the Trey Lance trade was for .. long term backup for Dak ? Cooper Rush replacement ?

- we have no true, game changing RB,.. the offensive scheme is a misfit for several players , we have to address the No.2 WR (expect Cooks to be gone)
and we vastly need a new OL coach, and possible a few more replacement asst. coaches

- We gotta revamp this dink dunk offense that more set up for possession, ball control , than big splash plays and stretching opposing defenses.

No Dallas Cowboy QB has ever taken a Dallas team to the pinnacle of success without a solid team and commitment from all aspects of team .

That said Dak is overpaid and his lower extremity injuries should concern the Cowboy brass. Looking for his replacement should be a priority but not necessarily in round 1.

The cowboys should have always been looking for competition in QB room not just now much like Aikman/Walsh

I believe Dak is done in Dallas.
Even if he does return, it won't last.
He has what he came for; he bilked Cowboys fans out of hundreds of millions of dollars (fans, after all, pay his salary).
He never had the drive to win; he was always in it for the money.
