What can we expect from Dak in 2025?

I expect he'll be older and slower than ever. Lack of mobility will further expose his inability to go through receiver progression and lead to even more hurries, sacks and throwaways. Honestly, he'll probably never play a full season again unless Jerral gets a lot better offensive line and running game to take some pressure off the 60M man.

Well, He'll be another year older, his legs are already falling apart the moment he runs a little. He'll be more and more one dimensional by the day.

I doubt it will be any different than what Atlanta got out of Kirk Cousins to tell the truth. He's not suddenly going to be a new Dak Prescott. We more than know what we got in the guy.

Kirk Cousins peaked at 2016 and has been regressing ever since. Then in 2019 he had another good year just to go back down again. Its who he is. One good year followed by 3/4 mediocre ones.

Who thought him going to a new spot would reinvent his game?

Dak has never regressed like that. He's always held firm. He can't break thru in the playoffs, but a lot of that is because he has the 3rd worst defense in the last 25 years. Only Matt Ryan and Jeff Garcia has had worst defensive performances than he's had.

I highly doubt he'll do a 2024 Kirk Cousins.

Hopefully he's fully healed and ready to go. The accountability aspect has to be on an all time high, he finished 2024 poorly.

Time to put you pedal forward and get us deep in the playoffs or the Superbowl! Please give your thoughts

We can all hope so. The highest likelihood is that Dak will now trend downward for the rest of his career. Lots of injuries and two season ending lower extremity injuries in the past 5 seasons. He will be 32 before next season. His mobility before the injury this season looked geriatric. We will soon find out.

I think Jethro will draft or trade for a home run hitting receiver and will draft or trade for a Derrick Henry type back … that should really help Dak who needs a supporting cast… left tackle is still a problem if guyton is really the guy… free agency will bring us 2 or 3 players who can shore up defensive weaknesses

LOL....Not even close to the Superbowl. Playoffs are in doubt. Dak is older and injury prone. They have cap issues. They have a lot of holes.

Basically delusion. Dak is getting old and he now has bad wheels. He has never had elite arm talent. Without mobility he is the most overrated/priced JAG we'll ever see. Even worse than Cousins ..his time is short. They're going to have to replace him just like Atlanta.

His mobility is going to be worse in 25 than it was in 24. He will have some decent games and struggle in others and probably will miss time again. Father Time is undefeated and Dak is no exception.

Even if he's completely healed, it isn't going to make any difference because Prescott is Prescott, a grossly overpaid, over hyped, less than mediocre QB in the NFL......................PERIOD!

Where was the Cowboys defense ranked in 2022 and 2023?

This simply isn't true. Kirk Cousins had good years every year from 2019-2021 His 2021 season was better than 2019 and he was headed for another good one in 2023 before he got hurt.

Wouldn't call those great years. They went 8-8 in 2021 and Kirk was never in the elite conversation. And in 2022 they won a bunch of one score games but it wasn't because of Kirk...its Kevin O'Connell who's done it again this year. Again don't remember Kirk being in the elite conversation that year either.

Yeah but you said he had mediocre years. If those years were mediocre, then Dak years from 21-23 were mediocre.

Lol Dak was in the elite conversation in 21 and 23. That is the difference, in case you forgot the not too distant past.
