What Chicago's farce of a win means.

Simply, they are not the heads and shoulders above the rest of the conference as much as ESPN will spin it.

They are beatable. any team that has a pulse wins the game tonight.

a healthy Seattle team can beat them.

So can:
Dallas
Philly
NYFG
CAR

The lesson learned today boys and girls is that this conference is still wide open and the Boys have as good a shot as anybody.

The Bears had 4 of 5 games at home before tonight and they could have very easily lost to Minnesota.

A win is a win. They are 6-0 and their schedule is largely a cake walk for the rest of the season. Good teams find ways to win games like this.

I think they are bad, but the fact is, they effectively pressured Leinart. Leinart is just already good enough to get the ball out within 3 seconds. If our QB plays that game, he resembles Grossman more than anything.

We lose to the bears.

Yessiree.

Its wide open. Anyone putting teams into the playoffs at this point is doing so VERY prematurely. Much like anyone EXCLUDING us from the playoffs at this point, regardless of the QB, is doing so VERY prematurely.

Wow. One of the all time greatest losses in the history of organized sport.

The Lions couldn't manage as impressive a loss when Joey Harrington was their QB. You can't really call this a Chicago win. Because Arizona gave the game away.

I think they lose all three road games against giants jets and patriots. Rams might beat them as well

But they are as good a lock to make the playoffs as anybody

Agree 100%.

My God, Tommie Harris would eat Bledsoe for lunch.

Wouldn't you rather play the game first? You have to play the games to find out. Guess what? We can beat the Bears. Guess what? The Bears can beat us.

Bledsoe has never looked as bad as Grossman did today. Neither will Bledsoe look as bad when we play Arizona later this year.

That's my point :banghead: NO ONE has. Its WAY too early. Tonights game was a perfect illustration of that.

I'm telling you what I think happens. Leinart has an extraordinarily quick release and is savvy at reading the defense. He made throws with bears in his face constantly.

What would save us is our run game, but that's it.

Sure I want to see the game, because that means it would be a playoff game. But I think that if Bledsoe is in there, he just can't handle a defense like that.

every team has a real bad game but the real good teams find a way to overcome that and win, da Bears will still be a forced to be recken with in the playoffs. Colts did the same thing against the Titans and they were at home

I agree that he doesn't look as bad, but they are the same problems. Locking onto the receiver, trying to find the deep ball, not checking down, taking stupid sacks, throwing stupid throws.

Bledsoe isn't AS pathetic as tonight, but his same issue is what causes that.

And I was talking about if we play the Bears, not the cards. My point is that Bledsoe can't do what Leinart did tonight.
