Oh BS. That's a friggin lame arse cliche the media uses, thats all. Good teams kick the s**t out of teams they are supposed to be beat. Great teams beat the good team. Good teams don't do what the bears did tonight. The Bears WILL be exposed. Unfortunately, it probably wont be until the playoffs.

I see we think alike.

The Bears offense couldn't have been any worse. That defense is still just too sick for words. How a team overcomes 6 turnovers by their QB on the road is amazing.

Any team can go on the road and look terrible, but Chicago found a way to pull it out. Undefeated still puts them atop the NFC heap. No way in hell I would want to go to Soldier Field in January.

A win is a win [...] Good teams find ways to win games like this.

See the 2006 NFL Prospectus for statistical evidence proving that to be completely untrue. Good teams are more reliably measured by how decisively they beat poor teams, rather than whether they win or lose close games.. Which bodes well for us this year

All I see is jealousy.

I dont see why the Bears should be ashamed, they just pulled off a helluva comeback after sleepwalking through most of the game.

The Cards beat themselves? I diddnt realize a scrimmage was going on.
Well the way you run your mouth you're unable to see a number of things.

no that is not the mark of a good team at all. We've pulled many games out of our butts when we were a bad team.
The mark of a good team is beating the teams you should beat convincingly on a consistent basis.
See:
2002 win against Carolina
2001 against Washington
2004 against Seattle et al

Exactly.

I wouldn't want to go there either. But I'm not afraid of it

Pretty much making the playoffs in 03 with QC at helm was one big season we pulled out of our butt. :D

They certainly underestimated the Cardinals and they kind of emotion they would be playing with on Monday night, in front of the nation in the new stadium.

what would you say if Dallas played this way against Arizona?

A win is a win. If we had a young QB have the worst game of his career, a dominating defensive performance and a great special teams play I would be pretty satisfied.

playing at home didnt help them much last year did it?
Who said anything about last year???

Besides, they have a offense this year despite the way they played tonight.

yeah they can light up the packers lions and bills of the world. Against a good defense (Minnesota) they struggle mightily.

BTW this supposed offense they've discovered won't help them much considering the reason they lost was the play of Steve Smith

And still win on a late 4th quarter comeback engineered by the man people are plastering around here.

Wow - don't know if anyone saw Denny Green's press conference. It pretty much put Jim Mora's 'playoffs' to shame.

New soundbite for the next 5 years.

We'll see when this team implodes in the playoffs. It may not be us who beats them, but someone will.

Rex Grossman QB rating is a paltry 10.7. The Bears rush for a total of 34 yards.

Edgerrin James rushes 36 times for 55 yards and a 1.5 yard average!!!!!

The Bears had four interceptions and two fumbles lost. A minus four on the turnover ratio.

The Cards had an almost 20 minute time of possession advantage.

A game like this would have given Parcells a coronary. :laugh2:
