Agree 100%.

My God, Tommie Harris would eat Bledsoe for lunch.

yep. And once you get to Bledsoe he goes fetal or starts tossing it up for grabs.
Bears would whip us at Chicago (which is where a playoff game would be if both of us made it that far). We might have a chance at home but I would bet against us, if for no other reason, is that our coaching staff wouldn't be able to figure out a gameplan that doesn't play to our weaknesses and their strengths nor can they play-call a good enough game to win. And we'd probably make Grossman look like Montana.
Hopefully all that changes over the course of the season but its been that way for a decade.

The Bears are 6-0 with games left against the 9ers, the Dolphins, The Buccanneers the Lions and the Packers.

That spells out playoff team.

I agree that he doesn't look as bad, but they are the same problems. Locking onto the receiver, trying to find the deep ball, not checking down, taking stupid sacks, throwing stupid throws.

Bledsoe isn't AS pathetic as tonight, but his same issue is what causes that.

And I was talking about if we play the Bears, not the cards. My point is that Bledsoe can't do what Leinart did tonight.

Our running game is FAR superior to Arizona so circumstances probably differ. Also i doubt that we give the game away the way arizona does. This collapse was historic

and that's more an issue of their cupcake schedule not the overall quality of their team

I agree with that - our running game kind of makes up for it. But Leinart and the secondary is AZ's MVP today. If our running game is effective, we have a chance. But with our QB, I don't think we throw as effectively against them as Leinart did, unless we establish an AMAZING running game early and play action them to death.

Also - our defense destroys their offense, I didn't take that into account

Simply, they are not the heads and shoulders above the rest of the conference as much as ESPN will spin it.
Grossman absolutely sucked tonight and they still won. The road to the super bowl is going through Chicago. They will be very hard to beat in January at home.

...that Cowboys fans are interested in seeing how we benchmark against a decent team.

I hear more yeas than nays on the opinion that Chicago is a decent team. I for one would like to see that matchup. If only to get another look a Bledsoe and our line against a good defence.

This is true, but only becasue their schedule is the easiest in the NFL. They will more than likely get to the playoffs by default. It does not, however, mean that they are a great team. They are completely overrated.

On a side note...Funny how the same pessimistic cowboys fans here are glorifying the Bears win. If we had barely escaped Arizona with a 1 point victory...you would all be suicidal.

The mark of a good team is being able to pull a game from your *** now and then when you play like garbage. I dont think the Bears are overrated at all, they had a horrible performance from their young QB and over came it for the victory. Their defense is game changing, their offense will come around once Grossman comes around.

I agree with you here, and I think that the Bears should be ashamed. The cards beat themselves, not vice versa. However, their defense really is that good, unfortunately. I just think that it matches up favorably to our own offense. We'll see - I don't know who they have really seen on the ground.

I think tonight was a demonstration of the entire mediocrity of the NFL if the Bears are truly to be believed as the best there was to offer, the parity keeps everything close. I think they will level off a little although a 6-0 start all but guarantees them a playoff spot unless they turn into the 2003 Vikings and start 6-0 but manage to miss the playoffs or the 1995 Raiders who began 8-2 and finished 8-8. My guess is they'll make the playoffs but if they're on the road they won't advance.

Oh BS. That's a friggin lame arse cliche the media uses, thats all. Good teams kick the s**t out of teams they are supposed to be beat. Great teams beat the good team. Good teams don't do what the bears did tonight. The Bears WILL be exposed. Unfortunately, it probably wont be until the playoffs.

no that is not the mark of a good team at all. We've pulled many games out of our butts when we were a bad team.
The mark of a good team is beating the teams you should beat convincingly on a consistent basis.
See:
2002 win against Carolina
2001 against Washington
2004 against Seattle et al

I dont see why the Bears should be ashamed, they just pulled off a helluva comeback after sleepwalking through most of the game.

The Cards beat themselves? I diddnt realize a scrimmage was going on.
