What did All-Pro line win is before.answer: nothing!

Lions have the best oline in the league because they invested 3 first round picks into it. They made an NFC championship game because of that investment.

Eagles have a first rounder and two second rounders on their OL. So while not three first rounders they too invested high picks in their OL.

Hurts had time to hit targets and this is a team that won a SB . Barkley had one if the best yrs in NFL history .
Not arguing the impact of the oline on the whole year, just that particular SB game.
Hurts got over seventy yards on the ground and placed timely dimes against often times excellent coverage.
So for that particular SB game I'll stick with Jalen Hurts and his dominating d line.

Put another way, Dak doesn't get those same ground yards or make those clutch throws even with that dominating Philly d line.
LOL

Cowboys!

yeah that what surprised me, was staying at 12 for a guard !
It seemed odd.
To move back or up in draft, they need to hustle to get a good deal, and that is too much
work for jones boys. They are too slow on deciding as well.

My take was they didnt call any team, they just talked to teams that called them.

This was a shotty pick, he wanted this particular guy.
Now lets see if he gets a RB to put behind the new tyler!

I will wait and judge the whole draft together, and again mid season.
How many draft picks make some kind of impact in year one.
That was my impression as well. Seems they just sit next to the phone and hope someone calls with an offer they like.

See any guards ranked above Booker?

1. G Tyler Booker, Alabama

PFF Big Board Rank: 48

Booker has some foot speed and balance issues that keep him from being a blue-chip prospect, but there is still a lot to like as a powerful, well-built, competitive and high football IQ guard prospect for a man/gap heavy run scheme.

2. G Tate Ratledge, Georgia

PFF Big Board Rank: 68

Ratledge isn't the most dynamic athlete, but his solid pass-blocking technique and downhill power in the run game give him a chance to be a starter in the NFL.

3. C Jared Wilson, Georgia

PFF Big Board Rank: 88

Wilson may be just a one-year starter, but he has the movement skills to be a starting center in the NFL if he can continue to improve his IQ and anticipation with more snaps.

So the t
Won 3 super bowls in the 90's with a ALL PRO line.
So the triplets did not so much for that ? Neither did the exceptional D i guess.

Points is: We had a very good OL but they werent the reason to win 3 SB. We won with them but not because of them. But latter was the point of the poster you answered to

I’m still so confused here

The cowboys haven’t done squat in the playoffs in 30 years regardless of pro bowls and all pros

So really by this logic we shouldn’t be drafting anyone and just let the timer run out
Too late. We paid Dak.

No, we won because of them, that and because of our D, which was the biggest factor by far.

Because the Philly dline dominated that KC o line.
What was Saquon''s final numbers?

25 carries for what?
57 yards.
More like Hurts and the Philly d line.
Not so much Philly oline.
KC sold out completely to stop Saquan. That’s why he had 57 yards. That’s why Hurts was able to put a hurtin’ on them.

That's a huge difference
But the Eagles have done an excellent job of drafting the line. The Eagles have used only two first round picks on o-line since 2013, Lane Johnson and Andre Dillard. And with Dillard, that was covered up with Mailata, a 7th round pick. But they always use other picks every draft to pick OL.

Cowboys!

You know it’s sad there was a time when a lot people thought Dak was better then Hurts .
