What did Denver do?

Dallas was completely outplayed on both sides.of the ball.

Everyone is panic mode..I get it.

This is a thread for the “neutral minded” fans…did you see Denver so anything we hadn’t seen on defense?

I’d like to begin to take a stab at breaking down logistically what they did to make us ineffective.
our offense was off. dak was off. recievers dropping balls they normally catch. Moore play calling was confusing. it wasn't as much as Denver defense as our offense was just bad.

on the defensive side,we seemed a step too slow. not on the same page. run defense was mad.

my take is that this young team, watched tape all week and thought, these guys aren't that good so we can just show up and go through motions and win this game...welcome to the NFL young lads.... I am surprised at some of the veterans not kicking the young guys.

bad was also the coaching. it was really bad yesterday. we got out coached, perhaps even they didn't take it seriously.

The offense never seemed to get in a rhythm, primarily because of the early pressure on Dak. As a result, Dallas had too many 3-Outs and failed 4th down attempts.
That put the defense on the field too long.

They showed up to play a real game. We showed up thinking it was just practice.

Their best player was traded and the staff and players were playing for their jobs....that tends to light a fire on a man...we were riding high and drunk on the Kool aid.

Sounds reasonable.

And that is why this loss is hopefully more effective. If we had lost against a good team, no one would have noticed.

Offensively- They completely outplayed our tackles and backed it up with tight coverage which Dak hates throwing into. Dak was off on about half his throws, and when he wasn't off the receivers decided to not catch.

Defensively- They took advantage of our Big nickle and attacked Diggs knowing the receiver can get past him. Too many times I saw the Defender, esp hamilton try and hold the runner up instead of just taking him down.

The worst wounds they boys received were self inflicted.

Dak was dodging lineman in the backfield all night. Our LT would routinely spring his man free which would cause Dak to have to scramble and halt his progressions.

they gashed our DLine with their run game

geno smith remained upright long enough to deliver some beautiful passes.

it happens

They run block well, have two very good backs, they have good WR's, they play very physical on defense and Teddy Bridgewater played lights out.

They're going to win the AFC West or take the WC, they're a playoff team, IMO
