What do the Superbowl Teams - Steelers and Packers have in common?

yellow pants! that's the secret to going to the Super Bowl!
Yup!

Protect your QB and give your weapons time to get open and good things happen..

Ask the last two SB champs (Saints & Packers) .. Pass/Pass/Pass Offenses.

Drafting a OL at #9 may be a reach, but its a necessity. :D

The Commanders, Seahawks, and 49ers all celebrate and wonder why not them if this is the magic formula. Heck the 49ers nabbed 2 O-linemen in this Draft. They should get there twice.

Pittsburgh allowed the 8th most QB sacks in the NFL at 43. Green Bay 11th most at 38.

Let's look at the flip side though. Pittsburgh was #1 in the NFL with 48 QB sacks. Green Bay was tied for 2nd with 47. So we should draft Von Miller or Robert Quinn by this logic and throw away Anthony Spencer. Think there is no correlation between QB sacks and winning? Pittsburgh was #1 in the NFL with 232 points allowed, Green Bay was #2 with 240 points allowed.

That's my mindset going forward... Spencer hasn't lived up to expectations.

Sacks are nice but hardly a magic formula.
Both SB teams were solid all-around but their improvement from 09 to 10 came in the OL.

A top notch OL will negate a top notch pass rusher.

If the Dallas Cowboys do not improve massively along the OL they will not win, period. We were 7th in sacks and have the games top pass rusher.

It is time to follow Pitt and GB by upgrading the OL with premium picks.
