What do we draft this offseason?

then burnett and carpenter are busts. i say we let them pan out before we draft yet another player in the same position.
Burnett is a bit of an engima since he doesn't seem to have a very active role in the defense. I think a 2nd rounder is a bit high to be spending on backups.

Carpenter, however, is most certainly not a bust. He'll make a pretty darn good ILB in the 3-4.

We need a LOLB whether people like it or not.

For the next couple of years his contract is right in line with a veteran back up. It's actually less than what we're paying Al Singleton. In 2009 it takes a jump, but even then it's not cost prohibitive.

my first pick is the best CB on the board. My second pick is the best Guard on the board. My thrid pick is the best LB/DE on the board. My forth pick is the best NT/DL on the board. My fifth pick is the best WR on the board. My sixth pick is the best OL on the board. My seventh pick is the best OL on the board. In FA I go after an established guard and LB and maybe a tackle if flo is not worth the money to keep.

I hope the coaching staff or actually the NEW staff puts pressure on James with some competetion in the off season.

Are you bored tonight...

3 threads about roster moves?

Dont we have a zone for the draft?

Sorry but you have safety in the 1st round so you deserve some crap.

well i am bored actually and just fooling around...

honestly I wont be able to make a true mock until after the big FA period prior to the draft...if we get the FAs I want, the draft will be a lot easier to predict, cause our OL will for the most part be fixed...

on the first day I honestly want

C - Kyle Young
RB - Michael Bush
FB - Brian Leonard
CB - Aaron Ross
WR - Chansi Stuckey
WR - Johnnie Lee Higgins

unfortunately we only have 3 picks on the first day....so

BTW...i didnt start this thread.....just replied to it...

there isnt a zone about FA moves.....only a draft zone

I really like Young and I think he can play guard as well. He's sure big enough.

Why are people picking a C on the first day?? I think AG has shown he is up to the task, he has been very solid this year and is still pretty young. I don't think we should spend a 1st day pick on a back up Lineman.. when we need a starting lineman at Guard. IMO

Young is 6' 5" 330, I think he can play guard. I wouldn't be surprised if he showcased that skill at the senior bowl.
