On "A Football Life - Jimmy Johnson" JJ talks about his thinking when he made the Herschel Walker trade. Basically he said they had no talent except for Herschel and that it was going to take a long time to rebuild with our own picks so my question is that kind of thinking relevant now?

That type of thinking is pretty much ended with free agency.

There are no mega trades in the NFL nowdays.
