What do you think of Robinson?

Dez has that same kind of potential. Neither has even scratched their potential yet. But with Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne and Steve Smith closer to the twilight of their careers these kids will take over the top spots with Fitzgerald who is still incredibly young for how good he is.

Dez, Nicks, A.J. Green. Of course Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson.

That would be my top 5 for the future. The only guy I question is Dez. But on talent alone he belongs there.

I was wondering, what do you think of Laurent Robinson. Do you think we ante up for the guy next year? Why?

And more importantly, what do you think he brings in this game against Philadelphia?

I think he has been awesome, and I think that teh Jerrah would pony up some cash. That is the way he is; I just hope he isn't a one year wonder.

I don't think 90% of the coaches in the NFL could have made the changes to inexperienced youth on the OL that we did and done any better than Garrett has.

On runs, the line is doing well. Murray is killing them up the middle and around Free's side. It's subjective, to say the least. But we're a different team than last year. I think we still look solid up front. I don't think that's the issue of why we're in the position we're in.

It's the reason our Offense isn't more explosive to the point of unstoppable. Or as your point was "dominating more."

Eh, some of it has been defense. But mainly I think at least 2 or 3 can be chalked up to Garrett. There is no defending the icing our kicker call. And I don't think you can defend him against the detroit debacle either.

I mean, that was the single, biggest collapse I've seen and just awful coaching from JG.

Right, breakdowns where he's almost always on the same page as Romo. We have to keep the guy.

One of my favorite things about him. He came in after getting cut by San Diego, wasn't a starter, and made more impact plays than Roy W. did without the preferential treatment.

Pay him like a top #2 in the league since we've got 1a and Miles.

I will say Laurent has been our saving grace. If it weren't for him, we would have been out of the playoff hunt 5 weeks ago. I do not think Ogletree or Holley could have carried the weight he has.

Really? Because Cruz has far superior stats right now. Obviously Nicks has missed some games, but to say Cruz can't touch him is ridiculous.

I don't think very many WRs can. I see Nicks as one of the top 5 WRs in the NFL in the coming years.

All WRs drop passes. One play here or there is not a gauge of talent and never has been.

True! I loved the decision when it was made (to embrace youth) and love it even more today. I am a little disappointed in Free as well. He and Tyron might both benefit from swapping spots in the offseason.

Let me further specify... Laurent is one of the (if not the) most reliable WR options on the roster. He is also proving to be a wonderful addition to the locker room.

I wouldn't overpay for him but I would definitely ensure that he understands his value to the team. He deserves a little love. I agree with others that say we could easily be 6-8 without some of his clutch catches.
