What does Brandin Cooks do exactly?

I realize that it's only been two (2) games for him, but so far I've seen nothing more out of him than that of a decent #3 possession WR. All we heard all summer from training camp was what a Speed Demon he was....I've seen none of that thus far. I'm curious why he's not constantly running wide open given all his reported "speed" and the attention Lamb gets???

Dak is the problem. None of our WRs have a TD this year. Cooks has produced for nearly 10 teams. He isn’t the problem.

Amari Cooper is arguably the best route runner in the game and is fast. He was supposedly not open, taking plays off..

It's still early, but the Cooks trade is starting to remind me of the Tavon Austin acquisition back in 2018. We seem to like acquiring WRs that the coaching staff can't fit into their system.

Don't think he's a great pair with what McCarthy wants to do on O. Between McCarthy's play calls and Dak's issues we don't stress teams down the field other than the occasional jump ball like we saw today.

Play calling I think is the biggest reason. When you are getting rid of the ball in less than 3 secs. it's hard to get downfield no matter how fast you are. I'm thinking Coach reduced #4's time due to the missing links on the line.

The running game accumulated yardage, but didn't come close to the Cardinals in volume or big plays.
