We all agree he is overpaid, but I disagree with people's assement that he is a bum. He is good against the run, can play multiple positions, and also adds some pass rush. With exception of Lawrence he's been one of the Cowboys most consistent pass rushers the last few years. Yes he only averages 5 sacks a season, when maybe he's getting paid for 8, but he's consistent and gets pressure.

In reality he should be a 5 to 6 million player a year, but I don't have any other complaints with Crawford. Next year he carries a very low dead cap figure so maybe the Cowboys make a decision next year. Guess that depends on Collins play/contract, Hills development, and some of the off-season acquisitions.

My only complaint about Crawford is that he's simply overpaid but does everything that's asked of him and more...................He's just not worth a $10.1 million dollar cap hit which is the number he's costing..............................

We don't gain much cap space by cutting him until next year. He's a solid player with position versatility. JAG is a little too negative on him IMO.

He is a consistent player who does the dirty work, very under appreciated by many. He might be overpaid but there is no reason to just cut him right now. He will probably be the odd man out in 2020 though.

Yup! People keep saying he's overpaid at 5 years 45m but many of the same people here liked the Trey flowers contract at 5 years 90m and he's never post more than 7.5 sacks in a season!
