What does Dak have to work on this offseason?

Feeling pressure coming from his frontside/protecting the ball in the pocket. Too many fumbles this year. Also, just overall footwork in the pocket (not stepping back and giving rushers easier angles when you can step up into the pocket.)

These are things most young (and even old) quarterbacks have to work on and should get better with time/experience. Given his work ethic, I'm not worried about whether he'll put in the time to make corrections. Can't wait to see how much better he is next season

Reading defences

Throw anticipation

Setting his feet to throw
I'm wondering also if he needs to master the playbook. I say this because I've seen a few times whereas Dez or T-Will would be wide open and Dak misses him. Not sure if his pocket awareness needs more seasoning or what. Maybe he was under duress and didn't think he had time to find receivers that are breaking open 25 yards down field?

I believe these things can be coached up and corrected through film study and as he gains more experience.

mid range throws. i don't care what the stats show, he can be very inaccurate on his mid range passes.
I chalk that up to his sometimes inconsistent footwork. He's smart and a hard worker so I suspect he knows these things and will work on it sharpening his up his play this offseason.

Footwork consistency and just adding more plays to the repertoire. Other than that, just keep getting better at what he's already been great at.
I don't think Linehan installed the entire playbook with Dak under center. We ran plays that emphasized Dak's strengths. If I'm right we should see Dak running more diverse offensive plays beginning next year.

Yes that is very important

That will come with practicing with his receivers
Knowing their tendencies, his own strengths and limitations
