because he stinks? You would have to ask him.
Maybe something will come out after the season why Lance didn't see the field more.

He stinks when it comes to throwing the football.Truthfully I'm not sure why so many are still so adamant about playing Lance. He never looked worth keeping to the 9ers and he never showed me he was even as good as Rush. Sounds like grasping at straws to me. So what's the big deal?
Not only that, but what they gave up to draft him that high.He stinks when it comes to throwing the football.
I’m floored the forty Niners took him that high in the draft.
They didn’t want Cooper Rush. They tried to get rid of him, I don’t think it was stupid at all. What was more stupid which San Francisco gave up for him?Why was he worth a gamble? That really doesn't make sense.
Of course, SF was dumber'n dirt, but at least he was still a prospect and they didn't know how he'd pan out. They didn’t want Cooper Rush. They tried to get rid of him, I don’t think it was stupid at all. What was more stupid which San Francisco gave up for him?
Potentially, being able to re-sign him for a low amount to continue being the third, developmental QB. But they also learn more about whether they should try to re-sign for a low amount to continue being the third, developmental QB.Dallas has plenty of regular season tape on Cooper Rush as Daks back up . But with a starting OL some regular season WR’s and Dowdle at RB why not get regular season tape on Lance and start him Sunday .
What does Dallas lose by starting Lance and letting him have the entire 4 quarters . I remember a couple of seasons ago they gave Will Grier the entire last preseason game to showcase his talents knowing they were cutting him .
Remember a Dallas loss and a win by the 49ers in Arizona and the 49ers draft after Dallas not before .
Agree, not much to lose. I guess only potential issue is if they had planned to re-sign him cheap and then he had the game of his life and drove up the price. I think there's a very small chance that would happen, but rather give him another look to see if it's worth it to continue to develop him in the offseason.Dallas has plenty of regular season tape on Cooper Rush as Daks back up . We need to lose this meaningless game for a better draft pick. Start Lance so we have a shot at the 11th pick in the draft.Truthfully I'm not sure why so many are still so adamant about playing Lance. He’s going to be QB2 next season.Potentially, being able to re-sign him for a low amount to continue being the third, developmental QB. But they also learn more about whether they should try to re-sign for a low amount to continue being the third, developmental QB.
I think with us having him for a while we have a really good idea on whether its is a something or a nothing. I'm guessing a nothing. Its got to be a mental thing as he certainly has the physical tools. Transplants Cooper Rush's brain in Lance's body and you might have something worth something instead of nothing.People saying to play Lance as a form of tanking I can understand, but the ship has sailed on justifying the 4th round pick they gave up for him. They gave up a 4th for a player that never got meaningful snaps even when Dak went down and after this game he’s a free agent. Even if he throws 5 tds it won’t matter. In fact him playing well just drives up the price to bring him back as a backup.
Not in the NFL. Maybe Canada or the Indoor Football league. Heck he might be QB1 in either one of those leagues. He’s going to be QB2 next season.

It's going to look like a comedy show not a football game. Let's face it Lance sucks.because he stinks?
