So you’re saying our defense is that bad, that they will likely give up 27 points to a team that averaged 18. I really hope that doesn’t happen. We will never get to the promised land until we have a legit defense. A defense that gives up 27 to TB may give up 40 to the better offenses.

We’re saying this thread is a smoke screen for an early start for the excuse of offense not putting points in the board. This offense is the second highest paid in the league. They have not excuse to not put up points as that’s why they are paid so highly. Our defense n the other hand is near bottom the league in salary. I hope they play well and as usual outperform their pay, but offense is to blame if we lose as that’s where the money is invested. Don’t like it, then time to blow it up so we can invest in a good defense.

Right. Against a team that struggled to score all season, I hope we get more than a few stops. TB is all about their defense, not their offense. To average 18 points a game and still win 8 games tells us their defense is much better than their offense…..but you keep on thinking.

Man I just have zero confidence going into this came after his they just sputtered out the end of the regular season and it’s against Brady who just never loses to us for whatever reason. I hope they put it together tho.
