No clue what anyone in the organization sees as upside with this guy. He scooped up a ball in the first game and tried to return it 9 yards deep in the endzone. Other than he has stunk to high heaven the entire preseason.

Ive noticed that too, probably just one of those players who practices good but does nothing during a real game.

he's another pellerin. shows up and plays physical during practice. but not dependable during games.

He's Terry Bell! Even practice reports said he was always holding if not getting beat. PS material not game material.

No I don't expect Deion. I expect professional level CB play from a player who saw significant snaps in a professional football contest against other professional football players.

Right now he's learning how to play without putting his hands on WRs on a defense that has no pass rush. Not many rookie CBs in this league who can handle Mike Wallace or Torre Smith under the same circumstances.

I didn't see the game but it sounds like a practice squad guy to me based on his play tonight. We'll find out soon enough.

HE's this year's BW WEbb, who was last year's Alan Ball

He's a seventh rounder. Did you expect Deion II?

He was the third to last pick of the entire draft and looks like he will be a decent slot corner once he develops. That's good value IMO. He is also a physical player (too physical at this point) and posters here are forgetting how badly our DBs played against bigger WRs last year. At a minimum, Mitchell was good enough to bump BW Webb off the roster and that justifies taking him in the 7th.

BW Webb. Thank the heavens he's gone. Has anyone seen a CB less interested in tackling anyone in the history of the league? I was embarrassed for him.

He came in late to camp as a rookie and played with heart.
While I am not toting him as member of the 53 his will make the practice squad
his was a 7th rd. pick

With some people you are either an All Pro or a scrub. And even veteran CBs are going have a tough time this season with the ticky-tack penalties.

I've almost made this post several times, because I don't see it either and never have.
