Not a fan of Mitchell's, either. I went in positively disposed towards him, because we heard good things in camp and Broaddus was relatively high on him. He doesn't seem like a smart player, to me. He's around the ball a fair amount, but he's been unable to make plays. He looks like a run-of-the-mill bottom-roster DB to me.

Talking to yourself again, huh?! SMH. :)
DE: He does that often, doesn't he?
DE: He does not. Take that back.
DE: I will not. And stop arguing.
DE: I am not arguing.
DE: Yes you are.
DE: That's it. I'm not talking to you any more.
DE: Fine.
DE: Fine. (Stupid Cowboys fan)

No clue what anyone in the organization sees as upside with this guy. He scooped up a ball in the first game and tried to return it 9 yards deep in the endzone. Other than he has stunk to high heaven the entire preseason.

I heard this same stuff about Scandrick, and he was a fifth round pick, developed into a pretty good slot corner...Mitchell a seventh round pick, what do some of you people expect, he's raw, that's why he was taken in the seventh round, give him some time, this isn't college football, why people bag on draft picks in their first year is beyond me..

We traded up for Claiborne which was ridiculous, and who was talked up as if he's the next Deion Sanders and that was laughable.... he can't stay healthy and when he is, he looks like a seventh round pick,, you should be complaining about Claiborne because Dallas has a lot invested in him who was suppose to be a shut down starting corner that hasn't lived up close to what was expected instead of bashing some rookie seventh rounder..

The guy has potential, he goes out there a give it woo and is not shy of contact. I guess his good practices keep this team hopes up. Me personally I feel mix about the guy. But then again Miles Austin wasn't a day 1 starter but within 2 years he was a beast. Just give the guy time.

I agree, I just want you lows not to be too low. I like players that you can count on more often that not to get the job done. I for one am sick of saying a 3rd and 13 or worse converted because a DB can't cover or even be in the same zip code as the WR.

We just need guys who can play......

He'd probably be a decent cb if it was 10 years ago. His strength was his ability to rough you up at the LOS and since the NFL is now turning into flag football, CB's like Mitchell are going to have no chance in this league anymore.

Looks like the same fourth rounder Dallas has taken again and again, except this time they were somehow able to snag him in the seventh. See, it's not all bad.
