What Duke Manyweather said about Tyler Booker

I don't see Booker as being a Tyler Smith level athlete. In terms of power, he's probably up there, although Tyler Smith isn't losing a strength battle to anybody.

But when they move, Smith is a step quicker. Smith isn't quite LT quick, but Booker moves like he's trapped in cement.

I think Smith is just kind of a normal power guard, whereas Tyler Smith is athletic enough to shut down some of the scariest defenders in the league. Booker has got gorilla arms, which is a positive, and he's really smart at picking up stunts, but I don't think he's the kind of athlete who's going to join the NFL's elite guards. And if you're picking a guard top 12, elite is the expectation.

When you have Duke saying good things about Booker.
When you have the story of Coach Saban telling Booker to ease up vs his teammates in practice.
Plus all the good reports leading up to the draft.

Should...SHOULD turn out to be a good young player for this team.

I have watched tons of film on Tyler Booker he is a tenacious football player ,you are not going to out work him.Football is important to him he loves football.Booker is always looking for someone to block and he blocks 2 and sometimes 3 or more on any given play.Dallas is stout in the middle of the Oline.
