mb3, Hamlin

qb - Volek and Orlovski - love Orlovski to come in and push Tony.

rb - Mewelde Moore

wr - Bryant Johnson and the speed freak Tim Carter

OT - Jordan Gross - PRIORITY

DT - Dan Klecko

LB - Dansby and Demarrio Williams

FS - Eugene Wilson

Dude, I know I'm calling you out, but the Orlovski to come in and push Tony made me laugh out loud. It's like saying we are going to bring in Travis Minor to push Barber.

Is there a list of who's available somewhere? All I know is
I want Hamlin to come back, Barber, Flo, Reeves, Bullet Proof, RW or Fitz, Springs sounds good but might want more than he's worth...

We were one solid WR and a decent RB away from going all the way, now it starts all over:(

check draftdaddy.com.

They have a list of unrestricted and restricted FAs for this coming season.

And I REALLY hope we upgrade Reeves.

I think a guy that's sorta flying under the radar is Andre Davis of the Texans. If I'm not mistaken, he's scheduled to be a ufa this offseason.

He might not cost that much and buy some time for whoever we draft to develop. He'll also help w/our special teams.

He's under 30, and has decent size.

On the other hand, I guess he's not too different from Crayton (w/ the exception of special teams). I dunno, just a thought.

Dan Orlovsky is going to push Romo? JT O'Sullivan is ahead of him on the depth chart in Detroit.

Tim Carter? Receivers that have yet to break 350 yards receiving in a season aren't usually too high on my list of priorities.

Where would Dan Klecko play in this defense?

Weird list, Nors.

Orlovski is a young QB that will start in the NFL

Carter is a 4th receiver that has speed to really push a secondary, others prosper when we have a real deep threat. Glenn gone this team doesn't even have any threat.

Klecko is a football player. DT and ILB situationally. Nice depth guy. If he can't make 53 cut him. He's a cheap FA pickup.

Good - Tony needs to be pushed this camp. Fact is in 2005 and 2006 an aging Drew Bledsoe beat him out in camp. Parcells even insinuated he wanted to go Romo in 2006 but Bledsoe beat him out.

Bring a few young vets in to push him, not 40 Year old Brad Johnson who is washed up.

I'm all for bringing in a young qb to keep Romo honest but more for quality depth, McCown would be a start or the draft...

I don't think Stallworth is going to be cut by the Pats because I believe he is a UFA at the end of the season. Could be wrong though.

My "reasonable" list would be:

FREE AGENCY
CB - Drayton Florence or Randall Gay
WR - Javon Walker (He's asking Denver to release him)
S - Mike Doss (for Safety depth)

DRAFT
1st - WR - Malcolm Kelly (#22)
1st - CB - Leodis McKelvin or Antoine Cason (#28)
2nd - RB - Ray Rice

I also like RB Felix Jones, OL Michael Oher, LB Shawn Crable, FB Owen Schmidt and Peyton Hillis, WR Adarius Bowman, and WR DeSean Jackson.

I think all of the above guys are possibilities for us. Obviously I like players like Jake Long, Larry Fitzgerald, Mike Jenkins, Randy Moss, and Darren McFadden but.... c'mon. No chance these guys will be in Dallas. We can always dream though.

I don't know about the money involved, but as far as bringing outside free agents in, I'd like to see us go after Marcus Trufant at CB and Bernard Berrian at WR. Other than resigning MBIII, there aren't really any UFAs out there that I think are worth the coin it will cost to get. I kind of liked Derrick Ward of the Giants, but he's a RFA and I'd rather not lose any draft picks to get him.

I'd love to get another veteran MLB in free agency, but I don't really see any that I like.

I also am not too interested in any of the FA QB's out there. If Grossman could be had for a reasonable price, I'd consider him an upgrade over Brad Johnson.

He's a RFA. He has a team option for like 8 million dollars which WILL get declined.

For the post above, Mike Doss? Depth? Did he even play this season?

You want Orlovski to come in and push Romo. You gotta be kidding. There's no QB in the NFL who can push Romo not named Brady. Romo had a monster season in 07 & would no doubt have been the MVP except for Brady. I'll bet if you were around when Landry named Stauback as our starter & after the Cowboys went 1-15 with Aikman in 89 you would have lead the charge to cut both of them or bring in somebody else to "push" them.

Now I'm not saying Romo belongs in Stauback/Aikman league yet cause he hasn't won a SB but Romo has also only been our starting QB for 1 1/2 years. Now I agree his play didn't stand out in the last 3 season games and the playoff game like we saw during the rest of the season but let's get real here. Romo is our franchise QB and will win big for us -- unless Jerry Jones screws up the 08 draft/FA. Just give Romo time to mature (in his personal life as well) into the great NFL QB his talent will allow him to be.

perhaps you forgot about Peyton Manning..........i think he could definitely push Romo

Lance Briggs - Move him to 3-4 ILB. Would greatly improve our pass coverage and would improve the run defense as well.

Drayton Florence - Should be affordable. Knows Wade's system. Re-sign Reeves and make Florence the #3 CB. Can still draft a CB if we want to.

That would pretty much satisfy me provided we re-sign Flozell and keep Barber. We could address the other issues in the draft.

YAKUZA

I like those moves, except instead of Lance Briggs (too much $$$) Dallas signs Karlos Dansby to man the ILB spot alongside James.

Dansby would not only be cheaper plus Cards may not franchise him b/c either Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Pace may get the tag.

Since the free agency list is still fluid, I will wait until free agency starts before I "covet" any of them.

he's fast so he's not crayton at all, plus he was once on the patriots, omg, sign him now

Dansby is going to cost a pretty penny too
