What Giants fans are saying...

What is play-action. I have forgotten what it looks like?

Did we have 1 playaction pass yesterday?

And....did we have 1 Screen, 1 reverse, 1 flea flicker? Nope. Saving all that shiznat for this weekend. Our offensive playbook will be cracked wide open FINALLY.

THIS game is a BIG game, finally we think outside the box. 21 - 3 Boys by halftime and we settle into Parcells conservatism in the second half for a 27 to 17 win.

im scared of Osi Umenyoria and Michael Strahan, after struggling the first couple games they have started to play like they did in 05. the are gonna have a field day against bledslow

I think one of the sacks was off of a playaction fake

Message to Strahan...that's not little Robbie Petititi and his man-love for you over there at RT this year. Columbo is a lil bit better.

You would think 18 year olds would be able to conjugate verbs.

This team is fireing on all sillenders. Bring it.

Stretch plays play into the teeth of a 3-4-- linebacker pursuit. RB's are looking to shoot gaps but so are LBs.

This game comes down to:

1. Stopping Tiki both as a rusher and receiver.
2. Not letting Burress and Shockey take advantage of their height.

I see Henry on Burress with Watkins rolling to his side and Newman on Toomer. We should zone Shockey with Roy and a LB.

If Marcus, DeMarcus, and Canty want to prove their pedigree Monday is the day. No doubt about it.

im thinking we should just put glenn on burress so he can shut him day like he did last year:lmao2:

And....put a muzzle on Theissman for the sake of the fans.

Please tell me you haven't seen any Giants games this year...

Dallas has the homefield advantage with speedy outside receivers who match up well against our secondary. Their TE should be open in the middle for the typical 15 yard gains we've been seeing all year. If Julious Jones gets going, that will open up the play action, which is no good for us.

Dallas has a great D, but the Giants should be able to score on them. Tiki needs another big day and Eli needs to protect the ball.

I think the key to the game comes down to Bledsoe. If the Giants can get to him, he will make mistakes. If he's allowed to sit in the pocket, he will make big plays.

I can't help but to agree with this guys assesment. He pretty much called it dead on.

Yeah but the line let the blitz thru and Bledsoe got sacked almost as he did the fake handoff.

Actually I think teams will try to blitz but realize it is futile, remember you can only blitz if you have the talent in the secondary to keep the receivers covered, Atl would have won yesterday if MV had wiped the popcorn butter off the balls before he passed it to his receivers. His receivers couldn't catch a draft in an open door way.

Pretty good posts I thought except for TO loosing a step.

We stop Tiki who always seems to kill us we are in a plus column.

We stop the blitz enough to make them pay for it and it's another plus.

Win the turnover battle duh.

Stop the big play. Duh again.

JJ not being healthy is a big negative for us if it becomes reality. He can hurt and help slow the Giants from biltzing if he puts up big runs. He is better at that than MB and TT is still an unknown.

It's all blocking and tackling with turnovers and field position thrown in.

i love the "heavy dose of brandon jacobs" comment. i remember roy forcing a fumble at the goaline from him last year. lol that was priceless

On offense we need to hit them with the run early, especially stretch plays to wear down their D-line.

This guy is an idiot.

We don't have a bunch of overweight, out of shape, fat defensive lineman. And it's hard to run stretch plays on a 3-4. Plus, they'll be running right at Ellis and Ware, with a TE blocking them.

By all means, please run the stretch play.

Seriously, I'm more concerned about their straight ahead dives then I am with the stretch play.

It will be neat to read what they write next Tuesday when we kick that butt
