What happened to Dez Bryant's hands?

FWIW, an employee of mine was at the game this weekend. He met Troy during the Lambeau tour on Saturday. Said Troy was in sweats and walking around the field when one of the tour members started yelling, "Aikman touchdown, unbelievable!" He said that Troy came up to the tour and shook hands and small talked them for a couple minutes then went back to his exercise/morning routine. I told him it wasn't real unless he had a pic, but he didn't get one.

He also said that the Cowboys look worse in person than they do on TV, if you can imagine that. On most running plays he indicated that they pull Dez, which is a good tell that they will be running. He was unimpressed with Dez's performance and attitude. He's a lifelong Cowboys fan and was disappointed in what he witnessed.

I worry about Dez Bryant as much as I do when Bailey kicks an extra point.

It's not Dez's hands it's defenders getting in his head causing him to lose his focus. He's trying to make big plays every time and isn't concentrating on catching the ball. Frustration screws his game up he can't keep his head in the game. He's been contained by several defenders this season and it's caused frustration and mental lapses. He's always had issues getting separation his season has mirrored that of the Cowboys.

He is concentrating too much on the fight to get open. When he does the QB may not be on the same page. He needs to channel his frustrations better but there is nothing to worry about long term.

Remember that incredible diving catch vs Washington? Anyone?

Are we just pretending that never happened?

So for $70 million, we get one highlight catch for the season.......or maybe two, the jump ball in the endzone over 50 people that one game.

So $70 million and there is only two highlight plays all season that I can remember.........impressive:rolleyes:

Did you watch the Packer game? Or are you OK with our allegedly "best active offensive player" dropping three passes and netting one grab for nine yards? Is that performance worth $70 million to you?

No its not, I also dont judge a guy based on the entire team underperforming all season. We are still talking about a guy who had 56 touchdowns in the past 5 seasons. So I think its a little harsh to judge him on his worst season, especially with the worst QB in the league starting every week.

He was never, and I repeat NEVER, one of the most sure handed receivers in the NFL. Heck he is probably 3rd on the team. He can make incredible and explosive look easy, but he has always dropped the routine ones throughout his career.

Except his rookie and sophomore years. He was number one in the league in drop percentage that year.

He has always been a top tier hands guy.

Like I said, anybody can catch a perfectly thrown pass. Dez is paid $70M to catch those passes that are not so perfect.

He got paid and checked out.......dude was jogging his routes in the second half

That has nothing to do with being injured or playing with a backup QB, that is all effort

Very disappointed with Dez this year

I saw that. He was jogging his routes. Wth? Probably laughing or talking to the rookie cb with 0 starts that held him to 1 catch without any safety help or guidance from any teammate.

People can stop with the constant double team talk, hes not getting doubled and i hope animal control takes his monkey
