He was a guy that could give you a few negative stops on the DL, but now I guess the poor play is contagious, and he's not doing what he used to do. It's been said that he's a player that starts well but doesn't finish well. Seems to be the motto of this team. He's up for a new deal, if you asked me about him last year, i'd say he might be too expensive for us to retain. At this point, I can see a situation where he's brought back if we choose to, on a small deal. Hoping things turn around for him, he's liked a lot around here. Please give your thoughts....

I don‘t think it’s a lack of effort or that he doesn’t care. The last couple of games he has been surrounded by a few guys on the DL who weren’t even on an NFL roster to start the season. Its hard to look all world when you are in a position like that.

I like Osa a lot as a rotational player. Of course I could be wrong, but the type of money he will garner on a second contract is probably going to put him on another team next year.

He was never better than solid. He's the same as he's always been.

Zimmer’s scheme is obviously a misfit for Quinn’s talent. The whole unit has taken a step back— even before the injury bug hit.

IMO— Jerry punted on this season when he dialed up the “we are hanging around the rim” narrative and decided to run it back with MM.

That led to the Zimmer hire and the status quo being upheld. What we are seeing on the field is a direct result of JJ either directly empowering it, or refusing to deal with it.

His passivity is 100% to blame for caving to Dak, refusing to use FA, avoiding holding anyone (especially himself) accountable, and propping up a lame duck coaching staff.

This current roster and HC may have just reached the point their tank is empty and after several failed attempts, they don’t have the will to summon the energy required to compete. Their body language, attitude, motivation, and execution all reflect one simple truth: they don’t believe in themselves or care enough to snap themselves out of their funk

I see as they don't believe in the direction of the team...... lot of players playing selfishly or making business decisions for their next coach or agenda

He is a solid player, but must have better players around him. This is the same for half or more of any NFL player.

Take away the starters, then every team will be in this situation.

A decent players weaknesses will be covered up by the better players strengths. As the opposing team focusses on them.
If DLaw and Micah were playing, then Osa looks / plays better.

Osa is in his contract year so for him this is a bad time to disappear. I wonder if Jerry has any plans to re-sign him or will he let him walk like he did with Collins and Gallimore.

If Osa departs in free agency the Cowboys have an even bigger problem at DT. All they will have left is Mazi. Joseph, and Watkins are here for one year. Phillips appears to be gone already since he was put in IR with a non-existent injury and there is not word on when he is coming back. It sounds like the Cowboys are not going to bring him back. If Mazi doesn't improve in a hurry the need for DT will be critical.

The Dl will be decimated again next year. Lawrence's contract is up, Sam Williams is coming off a major injury and he is still unproven, Kneeland is coming off an injury, and the other DEs are rentals.

DL is going to be the #1 need in free agency.

Wow, I had not realized how desperately thin this team will be next year before the draft and FA. We all know the Cowboys only dumpster dive in FA, so this puts enormous pressure on the draft.

This last off-season looks more and more like a kamikaze mission that will have long term ramifications. An off-season that bad is like saying “pass” when it’s your move in a chess game. Unbelievably stupid.

As it has been since 2010. Jerry is just too football stupid to understand it.

Cowboys will miss out somehow in FA, then during the season or before the start, they will spend a grand total of 6.3 million dollars and will have picked up 9 DL guys who will be on the practice squad!

Jerry might as well do a Home Depot commercial….”Home Depot…the OFFICIAL free agent source for the Dallas Cowboys”.

We can go down the roster and ask what happened to this player and that one. Something is wrong in the building. All the MOJO left with DQ.

One draft can't fix all the holes this has.........THIS is why I favor Belichick. If you are not going to have enough players, you need a damn good coach who knows how to hide jags. Kinda what Quinn did his first couple of years........then as expected it caught up with him ( GB game exposed him)
