I am not sold on Cousins. He got lucky in Washington. Cowboys are a far better club and will/should handle the Commanders. Short week..injuries on the defense might make it interesting but after Green Bay...Pittsburgh...Baltimore it seems the Commanders should be very beatable.

Cousins has improved considerably since early in their season and their defense is pretty stout as well. I'm expecting a fairly high-scoring game that should hopefully have us outscoring anything they're able to overcome. I'm hoping for about a 10-point win, as long as we avoid turnovers.

Will people give us respect then?

I keep hearing that we haven't played anybody yet. Our wins aren't impressive. Our starts are sluggish.

Ok, what if we beat Washington 30-7?

I guess it will be the 4 days rest.
you mean we're not getting respect now? or are you just looking at the few who will always refuse to do it and wonder if they will ever change?

no. "they" do not.

and if we blow out the skins, we're 10-1.

not as difficult as you make it out to be.

I have no concerns about our offense vs. Washington.

However, our pass defense is **** and I think Cousins will do well.

Turnovers and big plays determine.

Their pass-happy style is a tough matchup given our lack of pass rush. So in theory they're never really out of the game even if we're up 10+ points, if we cant pressure the QB. Assuming turnovers are even or worse, expect a 4th quarter thriller.

Crawford and Lawrence need to bring it. I'm not talking about flashing on one or two plays in the 4th quarter, they need to bring it consistently throughout the game. The Skins have playmakers all over their offense, they'll pick us apart if the dline plays pattycake all day.

I've been watching some old games lately, man we used to rag on Ware and Spencer but they brought it 10x more in the pass rush than this current group.

Did you ever see Doomesday?

It would definitely catch me by surprise. A game versus A game, we win every time, but the Commanders are red hot right now. We just seem to play awful on turkey day lately, hopefully the Rookies change that

The Cowboys rarely blow anybody out, especially divisional foes. Even when given a golden opportunity to go for a first half "killshot" we typically squander it and let the other team hang around. It's just what we do.
