Oh I think this will be a good game, I'm just reacting to the "Cowboys haven't played anyone" and "Commanders are smolderingly hot" comments. They beat a team at home we beat on the road, they tied a team we dominated, they lost to the Lions, but their wins somehow make them red hot world beaters and ours are a mirage against poor opponents?

Actually I'm not worried about that. I am worried that they have hit their stride on offense and we are a bit thin at DB right now. The NFL is a game of match ups, and they match up against up pretty well. If we don't turn the ball over I think we probably win this game.

I will say that I didn't like our offensive play calling in the early part of the Baltimore game. We were way too predictable running the ball inside on first down throughout the game.

Yes. They don't impress me none. We also dominated the Packers and shut down their offense completely while they let the Packers gain over 400 yards and moved the ball up and down the field on them. I saw them struggle with a weak Bengals team. Lost to the Lions.

Am I supposed to be blown away?

The Commanders will give us a lot more effort than any other team they play. They hate us with a passion.

You guys are really giving to much credit to the Commanders. They have had to scratch to beat teams this year where we have punched those same teams. We will win this 10+

Good points. As these teams evolve and others dissolve throughout the season you just never know who's going to show up. the foreskins looked pretty good against a decimated GB defense. We have been pretty consistent throughout which is good, however I just hope our defense can manage some stops and turnovers. If we win the turnover battle, we'll win the game.

I'm predicting 2 interceptions and a blow out. It's going to catch everyone by surprise, especially 98% of this forum.
If we get two picks, I'll definitely be surprised...happily surprised, but surprised nonetheless.

Will people give us respect then?

I keep hearing that we haven't played anybody yet. Our wins aren't impressive. Our starts are sluggish.

Ok, what if we beat Washington 30-7?

I guess it will be the 4 days rest.

Nothing... Our real test will be vs. Vikings... then the Giants... etc...

Yeah, I get what you are saying. It is always the next team. On a serious note, I think we are a very bad match up for the Vikings. They don't strike me as a team that will beat us unless we lose the turnover battle in that game of go back to unimaginative play calling.

I do think the D needs to get some turnovers. Seems like it's been a long time since we've had one. At least the offense doesn't give up too many either.

It's not going to be a blowout, but if it were, it would go into the win column just like a one-point win would.

The skins four years ago came into our house and beat us on Thanksgiving 38-31. This year it will more in our favor with us scoring TD's to their field goals with our bend but don't break defense IMO. They have to figure out a way to get our offense off the field consistently without scoring. This week I see the running game being more involved and the passing game as a compliment. The offense can really be the 12th man on defense this week with long drives ending in touchdowns. Should be a great game and complemented with few turnovers on the boys part, the game should be nudged in our favor.

So who's not respecting this team? Seems like all the experts I've seen, ie. the fox panel after the Sunday win were highly complematary, some even saying we are the best team right now...

I think we beat the skins, I'm not sure beating the packers with all their injuries on defence was a good measuring stick, I believe they were using all safeties in the defensive backfield Sunday night and that game still come down to the last 5 minutes of the game...

Our offence put 27 points on the board and 400 yards on Baltimore ... the number 1 defence.

Washingtons offence is better than Baltimore, I doubt their defence is...

Of course if our O continues to dominate TOP then that'll help slow Washingtons offence...
Im telling you right now Baltimore does not have a better defense than Washington. It's about a wash. Baltimore was missing two impact players in our game that forced a scrub and a rookie to cover Dez. That won't happen in Wahington with Norman.

Literally every good offense the Ravens faced they got their *** handed to them. Throw the stats out and do the eye test.

Their defense can't handle Zeke and our line. As long as we don't go pass happy, should be a win by controlling the clock. These are always close games but this may end up looking closer by the final score than it actually was :flagwave:

What is it with this board and feeling slighted?

I've repeatedly heard discussion on the national scene where the cowboys are considered either the best team...or at least a top 3 team...and where either Dak or Zeke are discussed not just as ROY but as league-wide MVP.

Even Skip was rolling out that fake narrative...that people aren't giving the Cowboys team or players its due...

Are you serious? Check out the Defensive Stats

Washington Pts allowed per game 23.3 (18th) Yards allowed per Game 371.3 (23rd) Pass Yds against 259.2 (18th) Rush Yds against 112.1 (22nd)

Balitimore Pts allowed per game 18.7 (5th) Yards allowed per Game 265.1 (2nd) Pass Yds against 219.1 (7th) Rush Yds against 76 (1st)

Even with Jimmy Smith they would have lost and injuries are a poor excuse it's next man up. Washington doesn't even have a defense close to the Ravens and neither do we.

Wonder if that little coward bh32 will finally show back up.

Hasn't been seem since September 20th. He said he was coming back..

The skins defense sucks. They suck vs the run, but they can get to the qb, our defense doesn't match well with there offense. Cousins has looked better, but he still makes some questionable throws and we need to take advantage of that. I'm worried about crowder to be honest

We won't get ultimate respect until we win the Super Bowl. Some people hate simply because they don't like us. You can't do anything about these people. Others may hate the Cowboys but will have to grudgingly pay their respects because a Super Bowl win will demand it.

I guess I don't understand why we feel the need for vindication or validation. Winning is its own vindication and validation.

They've lost to the Lions, tied the Bengals, snuck by the Vikings, and beat the Packers. We've played two of those teams and did pretty well against them, but we haven't played anyone?

they are a good team and will give us a typically good game in this long rivalry. if cousins is allowed to operate without pressure it could get dicey....
