What If It Ends Up as a Cowboy/Brown Super Bowl

I'm beginning to think Cleveland might be the team in the AFC best equipped to upset the Patriots, yes a fully healthy Indy team could but in the absence of Dwight Freeney that is quite a task.

Romeo Cremmel just seems prepared to take up the task, great defensive scheming and ball control offense with just enough Braylon Edwards wizardry could land them in the AFC Championship Game, they remind me of the 1995 Colts, the Jim Harbaugh team that almost upset Pittsburgh on a last second pass and that did in the heavily favored Chiefs the week before.

I think that if the Browns played the Pats, they would win merely because we have their pick :banghead:

Clevelands defense wouldnt be able to stop the Pats ONCE. Plus the Browns offense is good but not top notch like the Patriots.

Patriots D is good enough to stop the browns a couple times AT LEAST.

And then they'd beat us in the Super Bowl to add insult to injury.... or injury to insult, whatever.

Nah if Bengals get their act togeather they have the fire power to go tic for tac and Steelers could give them a run. I think Chargers have a decent team and it would be an emotional game for them. If they would just let Shawn take his roids it would be better but eh oh well.

Cinderella can only attend so many balls before midnight, if they beat the odds to make the Super Bowl I think their tank would be spent.

Yeah its just our luck that this is the year that the always horrible Cleveland Browns decide to get their ish together. They are doing it with Derek Anderson too..:(

They played earlier in the year and NE won 34-17, but they did play them fairly tough and were in it in the 4th quarter when it was 20-10. The key to the game was Anderson got picked 3 times.

I have seen the Browns play in Cleveland this year. They have one of the worst pass defenses in the leauge. Their DB's are horrible. They can not and will not play bump n run, which is exactly what a team needs to beat the Patriots. They are not in the same leauge as the Patriots.

Yeah, no kiddin'! And if the Brownies want to have a winning season every year, they just need to trade their #1 pick to us every year!

:laugh2:

THAT is so funny.... for some reason I found myself thinking about that today while I was driving to my folks.... imagine the Browns upset the Pats and they make to SB to meet us.... WOW

You know, this whole thing might just have merit. Especially since Romeo Crennel knows the Patriots so well. He was their defensive coordinator. Plus the Browns do have the firepower. It could actually happen...

Which begs the question...

Would you rather the Browns beat the Patriots and the Cowboys win the Superbowl?

Or would you rather have a mid-high draft pick and face off against the Patriots in the Superbowl?

Browns beat Pats and Cowboys win SB.

That was easy though... :)

After the Eagles game tonight, this scenario did cross my mind. I really like the way the Browns played the Pats earlier this season. I also like the Steelers (even with the Jets disaster).

Amazing how two games that the Pats should've lost but capitalized on opponent mistakes has completely changed fan perception of the media Goliath.

I don't think anyone is afraid of the Pats after Indy and Philly hung ten with them and killed themselves with mistakes.

I think Dallas is hungry for another crack at them especially in light of the disrespectful nature of the end of the game with the running up of the score and the after game taunting with popcorn.

In THIS order "I dont think anyone is afraid of the Pats after DALLAS and INDY and Philly"

Mediots and fans alike saw how WE were in that game... we just made too many mistakes... lots of penalties... wont happen next go round

I think the Colts would have won if they had a healthy Marshall Faulk.
