What if Randy Moss asked for a trade at the end of the season?

Randy Moss asked for a trade at the end of the season. Do you think we should pursue him?

Now, before some of you jump the gun, consider this: Owens and Moss may both be explosive threats, but upon closer inspection you will see that they have two different games. I can certainly see Moss in the role of possession receiver while Owens plays the intermediate to deep threat.

Your thoughts...

......and that's not even talking about on the field behavior. Click, Click, Boom......

You're kidding right?

You are asking for neuclear war.

Owens and Vanderjaqt is ego enough.

yea lets go trade for another 30+ year old WR, with problems, so we can once again rehash the topic, that BP is not building for the future, and so we can just keep these Hurds and rectors on the bench, because they look so sexii there. Jeez i know i should go to sleep now.

that would be reversed Moss is the deep threat of the two and Owens is the possesion, i have seen moss play many times (chi town area boy) and he plays that deep ball damn well owens is more of a possesion/yards after the catch type of baller

In all seriousness and all chemistry issues aside, tying that much money up into 2 aging Wide Receivers on the downside of their careers is just not a smart move. Sounds something like the Commanders would do.

you first, you have the obivous lack of sleep syndrome.

You know making threads about things, that absolutly make no sense, and would cause havoc in fans, and the team.

not to mention you couldnt even get their style of play right

Moss is the deep threat. And owens is the Possesion guy. You should study just a bit harder, on these players

Moss should go to the 'fins that way him and his buddy daunte can get back lol and maybe do some good

Moss needs to go somewhere. Walters isn't getting him the ball.

You have already been told this, but let me state it to you differently. Moss is the best deep threat in the league. Owens is the best complete WR in the league.

As for them playing together, yes, their games to compliment each other. The chemistry just wouldn't work, no matter how much you like the combo on playstation.

Ain't gonna happen, but can you imagine the media if we actually did this?? Ummm, you think we have a circus now.......our games might be televised like the presidential state of the union address, on every station.

I think I've read that during some contract restructuring, Moss now has an "out clause" in his current deal which allows him to become a free agent next year. Adam may know for sure.

But I have no doubt that if he does, that he'll use it to get out of the literal Black Hole that is Oakland.

As a free agent, he would still garner plenty of interest leaguewide.

We've had two opportunities to get Moss. We passed both times.

Moss has already said he doesn't think he could play with T.O.

And we already have Terry Glenn. it wouldn't make sense to move him to 3rd receiver for Moss. no point in doing that. Not to mention we couldn't afford to do that.

I am happy with the WR's we have on this team.....if anything though, I would look for a very talented rookie to select in the early rounds.

Like Johnson from Ga Tech

um, no

David

um...ya. Why shouldn't we get Peyton to throw them the ball.

Wait! ....Maybe we can get Favre! :lmao:

Id Save the pain in the butt and go draft Jarret, Ginn, or C. Johnson in the first round (if pick permits). No sense in picking up in free agency another WR when we already have two of the top 20 in the league.

Sometime the age at WR has to be addressed by the team and I HOPE its the first round next year. Then again... I'd take a NT or CB as well. And I dont like Romo's noodle so a Drew Stanton or Quinn would be nice..

I don't think the 2 egos would mesh. Add to that Moss has to be one of the worst rout runners in the NFL. No doubt the guy has speed and great leaping ability and hands but I would not waste time and effort on him
