Now, before some of you jump the gun, consider this: Owens and Moss may both be explosive threats, but upon closer inspection you will see that they have two different games. I can certainly see Moss in the role of possession receiver while Owens plays the intermediate to deep threat.

Your thoughts...

Considering that we don't have a qb to get them the ball, what difference does it make?

Moss has a clause in his contract that allows him to opt out this next off-season.

So there will be no need to make a trade, since he will be a free agent.

If this is about winning it all, sign him and figure out how to satisfy the egos later.

If this is about planning for the future, then don't.

Frankly, after ten years of less than stellar results, I'd be for pushing it all in and going for the prize, rather than this nebulous plan for the future that may never come.

Look at the Raiders. They haven't sniffed the Super Bowl since the late seventies.

I'd rather make a run than wait.

Yeah, maybe you should.

well i know if i close my own eyes and drift off to dreamland, you make sense there on a topic as ignorant as this one.

i guess i'll NEVER understand the SOS facination people have. (shiney object syndrome) esp when it's not even that shiney but moreover, an old beat up horsetopic of a debate we can't seem to allow ourselves to get over.

Terry Glenn had a better year last year, I think, and is on pace for another one

why fix what isn't broken? :D

Exactly. It makes a hell of a lot more sense to use money to upgrade positions with weak or average players than to get greedy and try and improve further on something that is already very good.

To heck w/Moss. I like what we have in our younger receivers.

Then if he declares, lets draft this Johnson kid out of Georgia Tech.

I think it would be awesome, purely from an entertainment point of view.

And that doesn't even count what happens ON the field .......

Omar Jacobs is still on the market

Omar>>>>everyone

Jacobs played just 3 years of college, with just 2 years as starter. Imagine what a 6" 4' qb weighing over 220 lbs could do given the same opportunity that Romo has been given. Makes more sense developing a Mac qb than a qb from Itty-Bitty U. Does the names Pennington,Leftwich and Rothlesberger ring a bell?

I would not mind bring Jacobs in to be a 3rd string guy. Give him a couple of years holding the clipboard to see if he learns something.
